Kenya Wildlife Week is a non participation safari. Group size 2-6
Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival into Nairobi airport you will be met and briefed on your safari before being transferred to your guest house. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight - Eka Hotel

Nairobi - Amboseli. This morning we start our safari with a drive to beautiful Amboseli National Park. The park is famed for its large herds of elephants and the stunning views of Africa's biggest mountain - Mount Kilimanjaro, which lies just over the border in Tanzania.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge is our base for the day and from here we explore the magnificent green park. After lunch under the acacia trees we head back out in our jeeps on the look out for some of Africa's stunning wildlife. By early evening we begin our journey back to the lodge to enjoy a refreshing beverage whilst the sun goes down. Overnight - Amboseli Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)

Amboseli - Nairobi - Lake Naivasha. This morning we leave Amboseli and head back to Nairobi in time for lunch at the famous Karen Blixen Coffee gardens in the beautiful leafy Karen district. After lunch we hit the road again heading through the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha jas a booming flower farmin industry and is also a tranquil safari setting. Tonight we stay Sopa Lodge, which sits in lush green gardens and has views down to the lake. Once settled into the lodge we take a delicious high tea, followed by dinner. Flamingos on Lake Nakuru in Kenya
Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru. An hour's drive from Naivasha sits Lake Nakuru, another of Kenya's great lakes. This lake is set in the middle of the National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park is teeming with fantastic wildlife including giraffe, lion, leopard, zebra, rhinos and a number of different antelope. But what sets this wonderful park aside from the rest is it's large number of flamingos that live in the lake. At the right time of year, they are so abundant that the lake looks like it has turned pink.

After a game-packed day we head back to Naivasha in time to opt for an evening boat ride exploring the lake shore in more detail. The lake is home to large pods of hippos and other wildlife, making the boat trip the perfect way to round off the day before dinner. Overnight - Naivasha Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)

Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara. Leaving the Great Rift Valley behind us we drive to Kenya's famous Masai Mara. the setting for the Great Migration, countless wildlife documentaries and, of course, the Big 5. The Masai Mara is the highlight of any safari.

We stay at the Sopa Lodge whilst in the Mara and our adventure begins as soon as we arrive in the park gates and go straight into our first game drive as we drive to the lodge. We get ready to see plenty of plains and game as we make our way through the stunning landscapes.

We arrive at the lodge before lunch and spend some time relaxing before opting to head out on an evening game drive. Once back at the lodge we can grab a drink and round off another excellent day by enjoying the sunset over the park. Overnight - Mara Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)
Masai Mara. Today we have an early start as we get up at sunrise hoping to catch the animals at their most active. Afterwards our game drive, breakfast is served overlooking the gardens and the park. Following this we can spend the morning relaxing or heading to a Masai Village to get a better understanding of their culture and way of life.

Following lunch, in the late afternoon, we can opt for one final leisurely game drive that can include sunset if you wish. Overnight - Mara Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 7: Nairobi
Masai Mara - Nairobi. This morning we enjoy our last sunrise in the Masai Mara with tea or coffee on the veranda. After a great final breakfast we drive back to Nairobi stopping at the Great Rift Valley for one last photo opportunity before heading to the airport. Onward international flights should depart no earlier than 6pm or 5pm for domestic flights. As we say in Swahili - Safari Njema! (B)
