Explore seven of East Africa's finest National Parks on a wildlife extravaganza. Starting in Nairobi head into Amboseli before exploring Lake Manyara, Tarangire the big 3 (Masai Mara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti) before ending the 2 weeks with the stunningly beautiful Lake Nakuru!

Day 1: Nairobi
Jambo! On arrival into Nairobi International Airport you will be met and transferred to our hotel for the night. Overnight - Nairobi - Eka Hotel

Day 2: Amboseli
Nairobi - Amboseli. This morning we start our safari with a drive to beautiful Amboseli National Park. The park is famed for its large herds of elephants and the stunning views of Africa's biggest mountain - Mount Kilimanjaro, which lies just over the border in Tanzania.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge is our base for the day and from here we explore the magnificent green park. After lunch under the acacia trees we head back out in our jeeps on the look out for some of Africa's stunning wildlife. By early evening we begin our journey back to the lodge to enjoy a refreshing beverage whilst the sun goes down. Overnight - Amboseli Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)

Amboseli - Nairobi - Lake Naivasha. This morning we leave Amboseli and head back to Nairobi in time for lunch at the famous Karen Blixen Coffee gardens in the beautiful leafy Karen district. After lunch we hit the road again heading through the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha has a booming flower farming industry and is also a tranquil safari setting. Tonight we stay Sopa Lodge, which sits in lush green gardens and has views down to the lake. Once settled into the lodge we take a delicious high tea, followed by dinner. Day 4: Lake Nakuru
Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru. An hour's drive from Naivasha sits Lake Nakuru, another of Kenya's great lakes. This lake is set in the middle of the national park. Lake Nakuru National Park is teeming with fantastic wildlife including giraffe, lion, leopard, zebra, rhinos and a number of different antelope. But what sets this wonderful park aside from the rest is its large number of flamingos that live on the lake. At the right time of year, they are so abundant that the lake looks like it has turned pink.

After a game-packed day we head back to Naivasha in time to opt for an evening boat ride exploring the lake shore in more detail. The lake is home to large pods of hippos and other wildlife, making the boat trip the perfect way to round off the day before dinner. Overnight - Naivasha Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)

Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara. Leaving the Great Rift Valley behind us we drive to Kenya's famous Masai Mara. the setting for the Great Migration, countless wildlife documentaries and, of course, the Big 5. The Masai Mara is the highlight of any safari.

We stay at the Sopa Lodge whilst in the Mara and our adventure begins as soon as we arrive in the park gates and go straight into our first game drive as we drive to the lodge. We get ready to see plenty of plains and game as we make our way through the stunning landscapes.

We arrive at the lodge before lunch and spend some time relaxing before opting to head out on an evening game drive. Once back at the lodge we can grab a drink and round off another excellent day by enjoying the sunset over the park. Overnight - Masai Mara - Mara Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)
Day 6: Masai Mara
Masai Mara. Today we have an early start as we get up at sunrise hoping to catch the animals at their most active. Afterwards our game drive, breakfast is served overlooking the gardens and the park. Following this we can spend the morning relaxing or heading to a Masai Village to get a better understanding of their culture and way of life.

Following lunch, in the late afternoon, there's the option to enjoy one final leisurely game drive that can include sunset if you wish. Overnight - Masai Mara - Mara Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)

Day 7: Nairobi
Masai Mara - Nairobi - Kilimanjaro. This morning we enjoy our last sunrise in the Masai Mara with tea or coffee on the veranda. After a great final breakfast we depart the Masai Mara and travel back to Nairobi. Stopping for fantastic photo opportunities at the Great Rift Valley. Continue on to the airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro and the start of the Tanzanian part of the journey. Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro you will be met and transferred to our hotel on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Note:The flight from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro is NOT included in the cost of the tour, we can arrange this for you upon request. The flight should not depart before 5pm, we recommend Precision Air (PW 726) which departs from Nairobi at 6pm. Overnight - Kilimanjaro - Aishi Machame (B, D)
Kilimanjaro - Tarangire NP - Ngorongoro Highlands. We spend the morning on a game drive through Tarangire National Park with its shimmering acacia sands, old baobab trees, Masai tribes and herds of elephant. In the dry season of July - October, Tarangire National Park surpasses the Serengeti on terms of animal concentration as big herds begin to congregate around the Tarangire River. In the afternoon we continue on to Karatu and our lodge midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight - Karatu - Bougainvillea Safari Lodge (B, L, D)

Karutu - Serengeti National Park. Today we set off to the vast plains of the Serengeti on a full day game drive taking a picnic lunch with us before checking into our lodge on the outskirts of the park. You will have more time to explore a larger area of the Serengeti, with its various landscapes, from savannahs, forests, dry river beds and rocky kopjes, all of which offering a better environment for a whole range of animals. Our picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a secluded spot in the park among the wildlife. Overnight - Serengeti - Ikoma Bush Camp (B, L, D)
The Serengeti at sunrise is a beautiful sight and one not to be missed. This is also the best time for spotting animals so we take advantage of the morning hours for the first of our days game drives. After our game drive we enjoy breakfast and a relaxing morning and afternoon until temperatures cool down and the animals start to be active again. At 4pm we head out for an evening drive before returning to camp in time for drinks around the fire and dinner. Overnight - Serengeti - Ikoma Bush Camp (B, L, D)

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater. After the thrills of the Serengeti game drive, we have a full day driving through the Serengeti towards the Ngorongoro Crater ending up at the Bougainvillea Lodge and passing through incredible scenery and game rich country en route. This morning Ngorongoro Crater awaits us. The Crater is a conservation area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated 180 km west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera, lies within the area. We experience an amazing game drive on the crater floor. Filled with wildlife and said to be one of the most thrilling game spotting experiences, the crater won’t leave you disappointed. Back at the lodge its time to enjoy our last African sunset and dinner. Overnight - Karatu - Bougainvillea Safari Lodge (B, L, D)
Day 13: Kilimanjaro
Karatu - Lake Manyara - Kilimanjaro. This morning we enjoy a final game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose shores are a shimmer of pink, due to the large flamingo population and which was dubbed as the ‘loveliest lake in Africa’ by Ernest Hemingway. We have a morning in the park on a game drive and if we're lucky we'll see the tree climbing lions that the park is famous for. Then we travel via Arusha back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight. Please make sure onward international flights depart AFTER 6pm, or 5pm for domestic flights. (B)
