On day 6 we head to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the crater floor itself, for an exciting game drive. We spend the morning exploring this fascinating wildlife amphitheatre, home to nearly 25,000 animals, which remain in the crater due to the constant supply of water from the springs. Overnight - Karatu - Bougainvillea Safari Lodge (B:2, L:2, D:2)
Karatu - Lake Manyara - Kilimanjaro. This morning we enjoy a final game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose shores are a shimmer of pink, due to the large flamingo population and which was dubbed as the ‘loveliest lake in Africa’ by Ernest Hemingway. We have a morning in the park on a game drive and if we're lucky we'll see the tree climbing lions that the park is famous for.
