After a good night’s sleep you will be ready for a full on day. Lake Nakuru National Park is on the itinerary for today. The park's central lake is covered almost all year round with a slight pink tinge thanks to its many resident flamingo. Lunch has been arranged at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge which overlooks the park. A lovely way to enjoy lunch.

This morning it’s an early start as we leave for the Masai Mara National Reserve and the Mara Sopa Lodge. The magic of the Mara becomes clear as soon as we enter the Reserve's gates. The vast open plains are home to some of the most spectacular wildlife documentaries and photos. The Mara Sopa Lodge has been created to ensure clients get the most authentic Kenyan experience. Praised for its ethnic design, the
lodge is surrounded by beautiful gardens but perfectly representing the Mara.
After you have checked in and enjoyed lunch you may want to take some time to unpack and settle in. In any case we suggest you wait until the heat of the day has begun to subside until you head out on your first game drive. Back at the Lodge dinner will be served after pre-dinner drinks in the Lodge's main area. A fun way to meet other guests and discuss the day’s events.
Overnight - Mara Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)
Another fabulous day in the Masai Mara awaits as we wake early ready for an early morning game drive. Early mornings are one of the best times to view game in the Mara as the animals are at their most active before the heat of the day kicks in. Back at the Lodge breakfast will be waiting for us on our return. After breakfast a morning by the pool or relaxing with a good book awaits. Alternatively, explore the grounds with a guide, spotting the smaller animals of the Mara on foot.
After lunch another game drive out in the Reserve spotting and ticking off some of those must see animals from your list is a rewarding way to spend the afternoon before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Overnight - Mara Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)
Today is your last day in the Masai Mara and after an early morning game drive an educational visit to a local Masai Village (additional cost) might be an interesting way to spend the rest of your morning. Overnight - Mara Sopa Lodge (B, L, D)
As the sun rises on your last morning in the Masai Mara we can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before beginning our journey back up the Rift Valley to Nairobi, stopping en route to have a picnic lunch.
