Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies. It’s here that one can (hopefully!) view the Big Five in abundance. Kruger is the flagship of Africa and South Africa’s game reserves, offering an exceptional safari experience. Spend the next two days enjoying early morning and late afternoon games activities through the rolling savannah grasslands and riverine forests. The natural ecosystem offers the opportunity to have close encounters with the animals that traditionally roam this area. Accommodation Options

This package is based upon standard accommodation. Staying at the standard, Timbavati Safari Lodge which is located in the Timbavati Game Reserve to the west of the Greater Kruger National Park in the Limpopo Province.

The lodge is small and intimate, with a cosy lounge and thatched bar by the outdoor pool, offering a restful place to sit and listen to the sounds of nature. Dinner is served around an open fire in the traditional outdoor boma.

Option to upgrade to a mid-range package
Upgrade to the mid-range Kapama Buffalo Camp which is located in the Kapama Private Game Reserve that occupies a vast area between the Northern Drakensburg Mountains and the Greater Kruger National Park in the Limpopo Province.

The lodge is small and intimate, with a cosy lounge and thatched bar perched on the edge of the riverbank, offering a restful place to sit and listen to the sounds of nature. The shaded pool offers a welcome respite on a hot afternoon. Dinner is served around an open fire in the traditional outdoor boma, and is presented in heavy African cooking pots. Eight luxury safari tents, inter-connected by wooden walkways offer en-suite bathrooms, safes, as well as tea and coffee facilities. Wooden floors, white linen and leather finishes give the décor an old African touch.

Option to upgrade to a luxury package
Upgrade to the luxurious Arathusa Safari Lodge which lies within the northern part of the world renowned Sabi Sabi Sands Game Reserve, adjoining the unfenced Kruger National Park. The Lodge is famous for its huge concentrations of game and guests are treated to an incredible wildlife experience! 10 thatched luxury suites each have a bathroom en-suite (with bath and separate indoor and outdoor showers), and a verandah for optimum enjoyment of the surrounding wilds.
