This is the ultimate East African Safari taking you from the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro across the Great Rift Valley to the eighth wonder of the world in Ngorongoro, across the endless plains of the Serengeti, ending with the jewel of Kenya's crown; the Masai Mara. This safari will give you some of the best game viewing experiences in some of the most scenic areas of the world.

Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the evening, just a short drive away. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight - Nairobi
Nairobi - Amboseli National Park. This morning you will be transferred to Amboseli National Park, best known for its unrivalled views of Kilimanjaro and the local elephant population. There are over 1000 elephants in the parks eco-system, featuring some of the largest in Africa. Arrive just in time for lunch and later take an afternoon game drive through the park grounds. After a traditional breakfast, depart in the early morning for your first game drive of the day. Without a doubt, Amboseli is a photographer’s paradise with the snows of Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline forming a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya’ most spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, rhino, cheetah buffalo and a host of plain’s game.

Returning back to the lodge for lunch, you will then proceed to the plains late in the afternoon for further game viewing. But it’s just not all about this parks incredible game, there is an assortment of other activities to choose from including hiking, bird watching and walking safaris.

Choose to have dinner inside the lodge or underneath the great starry African sky with the chorus of the bush quietly humming in the background. Overnight - Amboseli National Park (B, L, D)
Amboseli National Park - Lake Manyara National Park. Leaving the incredible scenic land of Amboseli behind, you will begin your journey into Kenya’s equally charming neighbour, Tanzania. Your journey will take you to Arusha town, the central point between Cairo and Cape Town and the hub of all Tanzania safaris. Enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing your journey to the understated Lake Manyara National Park, consisting of a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and Lake Manyara, an alkaline or soda-lake, to the east, and is famous for its population of flamingos.

The park encompasses three distinct habitats including a lush groundwater forest, open floodplains and acacia woodlands. Large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds can be seen on the grassy plains, as do giraffes, where as the narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favoured haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Squadrons of banded mongoose dart between the acacias, while the diminutive Kirk’s dik-dik forages in their shade. This very scenic park will no doubt delight your senses on an afternoon game drive. An early departure this morning will take you to the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8300 square kilometres. The actual crater is 260 square kilometres and 620m deep. The original volcano was probably as high, if not higher than Kilimanjaro.

Reaching the crater floor as the sun begins to rise, you will undoubtedly be amazed at this natural phenomenon before you. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 25,000 animals and is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen. Additionally, the Ngorongoro Crater is unique because it is a multi-use conservation area - where the animals and environment are protected but the Masai are allowed to live and continue their pastoral lifestyle.

Enjoy a picnic on the edge of one of the crater’s lakes as you watch elephants quench their thirst from afar. Later return to your lodge in Lake Manyara National Park to relax and enjoy a well-earned feast. Overnight - Lake Manyara National Park (B, L, D)
Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park. Today you will drive to Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed as one of the 7 natural world wonders of modern time, the Serengeti National Park. With an enroute game drive and a picnic lunch at the Olduvai Gorge, you will make your way to your accommodation for the next two nights. Chill out in the afternoon along side the swimming pool, the perfect opportunity to cool off after a hot and dusty game drive. Overnight - Serengeti N.P. (B, L, D)
There’s nothing like an early morning start allowing you to experience one of the most ultimate game viewing experiences. After a hot cup of tea or coffee you will soon be wide-awake as you watch wildlife at its most active time. The park is renowned for its annual migration; when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.

After lunch at camp, return to the parks open plains in search for more wildlife viewing and experiences. As the evening light approaches, you will be thoroughly rewarded with all you game spotting with sundowners at a picturesque location in the park. Overnight - Serengeti N.P. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Serengeti N.P.
On day 8 transfer to a different camp within the Serengeti, strategically located on one of the main wildebeest and zebra migration paths between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. During the height of the Migration, from June to October, this is an ideal place to witness this incredible event. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives before returning to the camp in the evening. Days 9 - 10: Masai Mara
Serengeti - Masai Mara. After breakfast on day 9, drive to the Migori Airstrip for your flight to Mara. Upon arrival you will be enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Mara North Conservancy on the way to your camp for the next three nights.

Depending on the time of year, we will set out for an early morning on day 10 in order to witness the breathtaking spectacle of the annual migration of the wildebeest. The Mara is technically an extension of Tanzania’s renowned Serengeti National Park, but its rolling grasslands, meandering rivers and towering escarpments an endless amount of game viewing. Home to a wide variety of animals, the Mara is also famous for its Big Five. Depending on the game drive we’ll drive back to the lodge for a late lunch, only to return again to the reserve’s open plains late afternoon for more game viewing and sundowners in the bush.

There will also be an option this morning to take a balloon safari across the Masai Mara, offering an entirely different perspective. As you silently float across the plains, forest and rivers for approximately one hour, your journey would come to an end back on land but accompanied with a fully cooked champagne breakfast. Today day sees more game viewing both in the morning and late afternoon. For the bird lovers there are over 450 species that have been identified in the Masai Mara Ecosystem. For your last night in the African bush, you will experience an amazing bush dinner underneath the starry African sky as the bush quietly hums in the background. Overnight - Masai Mara (B, L, D)
Day 12: Nairobi
It may be the last day of safari however your game viewing does not stop. After breakfast, experience an on-route game drive to the airstrip, before out of the Mara and onto Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi late afternoon in time for you onward journey or international flight. Masai Mara (B)
