Johannesburg city

Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger N.P.

Arrive Johannesburg airport and we will transfer you to Kruger National Park. It’s said that Kruger has the greatest variety of wildlife in Africa. Lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, giraffe are present as are a profusion of herbivores.

Day 2: Kruger N.P.

Early this morning and later this afternoon you head off in open vehicles into the park in search of Africa’s Big Five. Keep those cameras ready! If you would like to get up close and personal with the animals you might want to arrange an optional guided walk with armed rangers.

Early this morning and later this afternoon you'll have game drives.

Day 4: Kruger N.P. - Addo

We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Port Elizabeth. On arrival we will transfer you to Addo National Park and check into your lodge.

Overnight at your lodge. Optional activities on site can be booked and paid for direct such as Nature walks, hiking, bird watching, sundowners and more.

Day 7: Addo - Plettenberg Bay

We will transfer you the fashionable coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. We highly recommend an Ocean Safari in Plettenberg Bay in search of Bottlenose and rare Indo-Pacific Humpback dolphins, as well as certain shark species. Also consider visiting Monkeyland where a monkey safari within a lush indigenous forest is conducted.

Day 9: Plettenberg Bay - Knysna

Today we drive to the picturesque town of Knysna - South Africa’s ‘Oyster Capital’, situated between lush forests and a peaceful estuary. It is truly one of the most scenic towns in South Africa, offering many activities and attractions, gourmet restaurants, arts and crafts.

Day 10: Knysna - Oudtshoorn

We will drive you to Klein Karoo’s capital - Oudtshoorn. Here you will visit the Safari Ostrich Ranch for a guided tour and visit the Cango Caves, where the guided tour allows you to explore the ancient stalagmites and stalactites and visit endangered animals at the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Klein Karoo is the easternmost wine producing region in the country, situated between spectacular mountain ranges.

Day 11: Oudtshoorn - Cape Town

Today we drive you to Cape Town and check you into the hotel. We commence with a cable car trip up the legendary Table Mountain for spectacular views of the Mother City and the surrounding peninsula. (weather permitting; cable car fee not included), Back in the city itself, we visit the well preserved Company Gardens, the S.A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea market, Greenmarket Square. We also take a trip through the colourful and picturesque Malay Quarter known as Bo-Kaap.

Day 12: Cape Town

This is an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way. The Cape Peninsula is one of the world’s most scenic areas and stretches from the City centre to Cape Point.


Day 13: Cape Town

Today we take you on a wine tour. The tour starts at 08:30 and we head to Paarl and a local wine estate. An informative cellar tour and wine tasting gives personalised insight into the finer points of wine-making. Proceed to the town of Franschhoek. Here we have time to enjoy the culinary skills of the chefs at one of the many award winning restaurants (not included in cost). Onward to Stellenbosch, the heart of the South African wine Industry. With the sheer vastness of wine estates on offer, we are spoilt for choice when we enjoy our final wine tasting of the day.

Day 14: Cape Town

Today we head off on the Walk to Freedom excursion, which details the some of the history of the apartheid and post apartheid eras, Robben Island. Rest of the day is free.

Day 15: Cape Town

We will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
