Day 1: Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, best known for its unrivalled views of Kilimanjaro and the local elephant population. There are over 1000 elephants in the parks eco-system, featuring some of the largest in Africa. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge . Take an afternoon game drive with sundowners at the prehistoric site of Observation Hill (if staying at Serena), where the sunset over Kilimanjaro is magnificent. Return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 3: Amboseli - Karatu

Leaving the incredible scenic land of Amboseli behind, you will begin your journey into Kenya’s equally charming neighbour, Tanzania. Changing drivers at the border our journey will take you to Arusha town, the central point between Cairo and Cape Town and the hub of all Tanzania safaris. Enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing your journey across the Great Rift Valley to just outside the lovely town of Karatu

Day 4: Karatu

A short drive from Plantation Lodge is the understated Lake Manyara National Park, consisting of a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and Lake Manyara, an alkaline or soda-lake, to the east, and is famous for its population of flamingos. Lunch is taken at a scenic picnic location in the park.

Day 5: Karatu

Say goodbye to the enchanting Lake Manyara National Park only to be presented with another natural wonder, the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a picnic on the edge of one of the crater’s lakes as you watch elephants quench their thirst from afar. Return to the lodge to relax and enjoy a well-earned feast.

Day 6: Karatu - Serengeti N.P.

Leaving the great spectacle of the crater behind you will drive to Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park the Serengeti. Mbalageti Serengeti is located in the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park. Chill out in the afternoon along side the swimming pool offering a 360 -degree view of the Serengeti – the perfect opportunity to cool off after a hot and dusty game drive.

Day 7: Serengeti N.P.

There’s nothing like an early morning start allowing you to experience one of the most ultimate game viewing experiences. After a hot cup of tea or coffee you will soon be wide-awake as you watch wildlife at its most active time. After lunch at camp, return to the parks open plains in search for more wildlife viewing and experiences.

Day 8: Serengeti N.P. - Masai Mara N.P.

You will have a game drive this morning before the flight to the Masai Mara. The Mara is technically an extension of Tanzania’s renowned Serengeti National Park, but it’s rolling grasslands, meandering rivers and towering escarpments equals to an endless amount of game viewing.

Day 9: Masai Mara N.P.

The day sees more game viewing both in the morning and late afternoon. For the bird lovers there are over 450 species that have been identified in the Masai Mara Ecosystem.

Day 11: Masai Mara N.P.

It may be the last day of safari however your game viewing does not stop. After breakfast, experience an on-route game drive out of the Mara and onto Nairobi (approx 5-6hrs). You will arrive in Nairobi early afternoon and we will transfer you to the airport.
