Day 1: Dar es Salaam - Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi

Welcome to Tanzania! Arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport ex SA 186 at 1445hrs. After clearing customs, you will connect to Precion Air depart at 1800hrs to Kilimanjaro Airport arrive at 1900hrs and met and transferred to Kia Lodge.

Day 2: Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi - West Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, we drive to West Kilimanjaro - the highest mountain in Africa, arriving in time for lunch at Kambi Ya Tembo. After lunch we enjoy an afternoon game drive - this area is great for Elephant viewing. This evening we return to our camp for dinner.

Day 3: West Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, we enjoy morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 4: West Kilimanjaro - Tarangire N.P.

After breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park - game drive on route to Tarangire Safari Lodge arriving for lunch. After lunch we have an afternoon game drive, this evening we return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 5: Tarangire N.P.

After breakfast, morning and afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park.

Day 6: Tarangire N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we depart and drive to the Ngorongoro area, arriving in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Manor Lodge. After lunch we enjoy an afternoon at leisure or you could visit the cofee farm.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater! This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8300 square kilometres. The actual crater is 260 square kilometres and 620m deep. The original volcano was probably as high, if not higher than Kilimanjaro. We will set off up the slopes to reach the crater rim, where we will continue around the crater rim to the descent road. Undoubtedly you will be amazed at this natural phenomenon. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 25,000 animals and is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen. We return to the lodge before dusk.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti N.P.

After breakfast, we depart with our picnic lunch box and drive to Serengeti National Park. Between the Ngorongoro Highlands, Lake Victoria and Tanzania’s northern border with Kenya stretches one of the world’s last great wildlife refuges - the Serengeti. The name comes from the Maasai siringet, “endless plains”. The Serengeti’s 14,763 square kms contains about three million large animals, most taking part in seasonal migrations, unparalleled in nature.

Day 9: Serengeti N.P.

Today we have another full days game drive, with a picnic lunch box to explore the Serengeti, the most famous National Park in Africa. This evening we return to our Lodge.

Day 10: Serengeti N.P. - Zanzibar

After breakfast, we depart with a picnic lunch and drive to Seronera Airstrip for our schedule flight to Zanzibar - departing at 11:05hrs. On arrival to Zanzibar at 1420hrs we are met and transfer to Zanzibar Serena Inn.

Day 11: Zanzibar

This morning you will be met by your guide and taken on a guided tour of Stone Town and a Spice Tour en-route to the Eastern beach resort of Kiwengwa where you will get the opportunity to see a spice plantation and the process involved in harvesting these perfumed ingredients that we today take for granted but were once as precious as gems or gold. The rest of the day will be at leisure to enjoy the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

Day 12: Zanzibar

After breakfast we transfer to North East of Zanzibar, arrival for lunch at Matemwe Bungalow. Afternoon at leisure relaxing at the beach.

Day 13: Zanzibar

Day 14: Zanzibar

Day at leisure in Zanzibar.

Day 15: Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar port for departure by boat to Dar at 10:00hrs arrive Dar port at 12:00hrs. We are met and transfer to Dar International Airport to meet your onward flights at 1500hrs.
