Day 1: Johannesburg

Welcome to Johannesburg, enjoy an airport transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at lesisure.

Day 2: Johannesburg - Hoedspruit

Today you will be transferred form Johannesburg to Hoedspruit. Upon arriving in Hoedspruit you can check into your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure. Hoedspruit lies at the foot of the Klein Drakensberg on the old Selati railway line from Phalaborwa to Kaapmuiden. A direct translation from Afrikaans is “hat creek”. The story says one of the town’s pioneers who took off his hat, after a particularly arduous trek over the mountains into the heat of the Lowveld, and threw it into the Sandspruit River, making an impulsive decision to stay. Hoedspruit finds itself in an enviable position today because of its access to the private game areas of the Timbavati and Klaserie.

Days 3-4: Hoedspruit

For the next two days you willl have 2 game drives a day. It’s said that Kruger has the greatest variety of wildlife in Africa. Lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, giraffe are present as are a profusion of herbivores. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms

Day 5: Hoedspruit - Johannesburg

Today you will be transferred back to Johannesburg where you will spend the night.

Days 6-8: Johannesburg - Drakensberg Mountains

Today you will be transferred to Drakensburg. The Drakensberg Mountains are the highest mountains in South Africa and located in the eastern part of it. They are running for some 1000 km generally southwest to northeast, with a northwesterly bend forming the northeastern border of Lesotho with South Africa. The highest peak is ranging up to 3,482 m and is the Natal Drakensberg which is one of South Africa’s most spectacular attractions. Visitors will experience hundreds of kilometers of unspoiled escarpment, scenic beauty, crisp mountain air and clear waters. Overnight - Alpine Health Resort Chalet.

Day 9: Drakensberg Mountains - Cape Town

Today you will be transferred from Drakensberg resort to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Cape town. Upon arriving in Cape town you will be transferred to your hotel.

Half Day Cape Town City Tour. Cape Town offers a rich cultural and industrial heritage, grand splendour and an assurance of activity of excitement at the V&A Waterfront. Including all the must-sees' of any Cape Town day tour, this option is a geographical and cultural extravaganza. You will visit the SA museum, Castle of Good Hope and Table Mountain. Excludes cable car trip to Table Mountain.
