Johannesburg city

Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger N.P.

Welcome to sensational South Africa and the start of your exclusive journey! Arriving at Johannesburg Airport you will see our friendly local team waiting to assist you onto the Kruger Park shuttle bus that will take you to your lodge in the bush.

Days 2-3: Kruger N.P.

Kruger is the flagship of Africa and South Africa’s game reserves, offering an exceptional safari experience. Spend the next two days enjoying full day game drives in the National Park. You will also have time to sit back, relax at your lodge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and sounds of the wild!

Day 4: Kruger N.P.

Enjoy an enchanting drive to the tiny Kingdom of Swaziland, a former British Protection Territory, now ruled by King MsWati III. Witness a Swazi cultural experience before visiting the famous Ngwenya Glass Factory to see master craftsmen fashion collectable figures and functional art out of molten glass. We continue through the capital city, Mbabane, known for its vibrant markets packed with woven baskets, beadwork and carvings. Spend the night in the beautiful Ezulwini Valley. Day 5: - Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park

Visit the Ezulwini Craft Market, for a vast array of African arts and crafts. Then on into Zululand, passing traditional round huts and endless vistas. Arrive mid afternoon at the town of St Lucia, a World Heritage Site and home to hippo, crocodile and no less than 367 bird species. This afternoon we have an exciting afternoon open safari vehicle game drive into Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. (OVERLAND AMAZULU - ST LUCIA)

Day 6: Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park - Durban

This morning enjoy a cruise on Lake St Lucia before departing for Durban. Hug the lush KwaZulu-Natal coastline en route to Durban, watching the sugar cane fields do their own version of the Mexican wave at the urging of the wind. Check into your hotel just before lunch (own account). The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure in Durban. (OVERNIGHT SOUTHERN SUN ELANGENI & MAHARANI)

Day 7: Durban - Addo

This morning we head off to the airport for a flight to Port Elizabeth. Arriving here, we transfer you to Addo National Park. This is a conservation success which offers a unique wildlife area, famous for the Addo elephants. We head out on a game drive in search of elephant, black rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard with evening viewing at the floodlit waterhole.

Day 8: Addo

Spend today out on a game drive in search of elephant, black rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard with evening viewing at the floodlit waterhole.

Day 9: Addo - Tsitsikamma N.P.

Today our journey takes us to a region of startling beauty as drive on the coastline to the glorious, indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest and where we will spend the night in Tsitsikamma National Park. This afternoon we will enjoy a fantastic walk up to the storms river gorge. (OVERNIGHT TSITSIKAMMA LODGE)

Day 10: Tsitsikamma N.P. - Oudtshoorn

This morning we enjoy visiting ‘The Heads’ in Knysna, a town nestled on a tranquil lagoon then we travel over the Outeniqua Mountains into the Little Karoo and to the town of Oudtshoorn where we visit the famous Cango Caves.

Day 11: Oudtshoorn - Cape Town

Today we visit Stellenbosch, for wine tasting and a cellar tour en route to Cape Town.

Day 12: Cape Town

Today you embark on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Take in the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to Hout Bay, where you may choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. From here you drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breath taking coastal drives, where you will board a funicular to get to the top of the Peninsula to wirness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and enjoy spectacular views over False Bay. This afternoon continue to Simonstown, the naval base, and visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach.

Day 13: Cape Town

This morning our tour starts with a visit to Table Mountain for spectacular views of the city (cable car not included pay locally) After, we take a boat trip to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. The remainder of the day spent at leisure we recommend to wander around V&A waterfront area.

Day 14: Cape Town

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
