Johannesburg city

Day 1: Johannesburg - Hoedspruit

This morning we will collect you from your J'Burg hotel and transfer you to Kapama River Lodge. You have the afternoon to settle into your lodge before embarking on a sunset drive, followed by dinner.

Day 2: Hoedspruit

This morning we head out at first light; if you are lucky, the big cats will still be around after their night of hunting. There are also many other species to be seen, as well as fascinating plants and colourful birdlife. During the rest of the day, you are likely to see wildlife like nyala antelope and vervet monkeys around the lodge.
At about 3.30pm we convene for high tea, before departing for the day's second African bush safari. As darkness descends it's time to return to the safety of the Landrover and let the tracker scan the landscape with a spotlight for the glinting eyes of nocturnal animals. Return to the lodge at around 7pm, where there is time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 3: Hoedspruit

Today we spend the whole day on an excursion into the world famous Kruger National Park. Spend the day with one of our passionate qualified guides in the African bush learning about the diverse, African wilderness and in search of the wildlife including the “Big Five”. Enjoy your full day Kruger Safari on your open safari vehicle. Return to the lodge at around 7pm, where there is time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 4: Hoedspruit

This morning after a last hearty breakfast in the African bush, you will be transferred back to OR Tambo International Airport for your onward flight. We hope to welcome you on one of our African adventures again soon.
