Day 1: Victoria Falls

Welcome to Astonishing Africa! Arriving into Victoria Falls our friendly local team are on hand to meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Victoria Falls

Enjoy a day at leisure exploring the area and enjoying a range of incredible activities. How about a 12-13 Minute Helicopter Scenic Flight? or 25 Minute Helicopter Scenic Flight? or Tour of the falls? Ask your consultant for details on costs.

Day 3: Victoria Falls - Kasane

Today is at your leisure to further explore. later our driver will meet you and transfer you to Kasane, where you embark the Zambezi Queen Luxury Vessel. Enjoy an evening sunset cruise, welcome briefing and dinner.

Day 4: Kasane

After breakfast the crew will offer included optional activities that you can choose from such as a river safari, bird watching or fishing. Around 13:00 you begin sailing on the Chobe River and all the while enjoy a hearty lunch and some downtime to relax on the top deck. At around 16:00 enjoy embarking smaller boats for water based game viewing.

Day 5: Kasane

Enjoy a sunrise cruise and breakfast, sadly you then disembark your cruise and get driven to your hotel on the Chobe River. Enjoy the day at the lodge with your included game drive and boat safari.

Day 6: Kasane - Johannesburg

Today we will drive you back to Victoria Falls airport in good time for your flight to Johannesburg. Arriving here, the hotels included shuttle bus awaits to take clients to the hotel.

Day 7: Johannesburg - Pretoria

This morning our local driver will take you to Pretoria and assist with your embarkation on the Rovos Rail Journey to Cape Town. The train departs at 15:05 - sit back and enjoy the journey. (Meal service as follows for the journey:- Breakfast 07h00-10h00 • Lunch 13h00 • High Tea 16h00 • Dinner 19h30)

Day 8: Pretoria - Cape Town

The train arrives in Kimberley at 09:45. Here, you visit with fellow passengers the Big Hole and the Diamond Mine Museum. Depart Kimberley at 12:30 and proceed overnight via De Aar and Beaufort West to Matjiesfontein.

Day 9: Cape Town

Enjoy a visit with your fellow passengers to the historic village of Matjiesfontein at 08:15. The train departs at 10:30 and proceeds via the Touws River and Worcester to Cape Town. Arrive into Cape Town Station’s Platform 24 at 18:00, where our local driver will take you to your hotel.

Day 10: Cape Town

Enjoy a day at leisure exploring the city sites, or How about a full day Winelands Tour or Cape Point Tour? or Table Mountain tour? Ask your consultant for details on costs.

Day 11: Cape Town - Oudtshoorn

Today you will be collected to explore the Garden Route on a scheduled group tour. Today's drive is to Outdshoorn with ample time to explore Barrydale and a working ostrich farm on a guided tour.

Day 12: Oudtshoorn - Plettenberg Bay

This morning you and your group will set out to explore the Cango Caves – one of the natural wonders of the world. Drive to Knysna – the gem of the Garden Route, here embark on a fun and adventurous cruise to and into the Knysna Heads. After, we drive onward to the hotel in Plettenberg Bay.

Day 13: Plettenberg Bay

Using Plettenberg as our base of explorations we visit Knysna Elephant Park and Birds of Eden – the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world. Later you can book and pay locally for a Whale & Dolphin boat experience (Weather Permitting) Or simply have free time to explore.

Day 14: Plettenberg Bay - Cape Town

From Plettenberg again today we visit Tsitsikamma National Park and then say farewell to your group and guide at Port Elizabeth Airport for your flight back to Cape Town. Arriving here, you will be driven to your hotel.

Day 15: Cape Town

Sadly your journey concludes today, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
