Johannesburg city

Day 1: Johannesburg

Welcome to Sensational South Africa! When you all arrive at Johannesburg Airport you will see our friendly local team waiting to greet you and transfer to the hotel. Today we learn all about the Apartheid with a visit to Soweto, this city developed as a township for black people under the apartheid system. This is followed with a visit to the Apartheid Museum to afford you a greater understanding of the the true history of South Africa.

Day 2: Johannesburg - Kruger N.P.

This morning we head into the back country on a scenic drive to Kruger National Park. Arriving at your lodge, we settle into our rooms and enjoy the facilities and food.

Day 3: Kruger N.P.

This morning set out early before sunrise for a full day game drive in Kruger National Park, in open safari vehicles. It isn't unusual to spot all Africa's "Big Five" wildlife species in a single day - along with a host of other fascinating species of mammals, birds and reptiles. Stop at midday to take a break and enjoy a delicious bush lunch. Return to the lodge early evening, to enjoy a festive boma dinner under the African stars, with entertainment provided by the local school children.

Day 4: Kruger N.P.

This morning take an early bush walk in the area, an interesting niche eco system with some smaller wild game and prolific bird life, together with the smaller inhabitants of our bush. Flora and fauna is varied but you can expect to see Zebra, Kudu, Blue-wildebeest, Impala and Grey duiker, Bushbuck and Warthog. Mid-morning set off on a cultural walk through a typical Shangaan Village, to meet local people in the area and learn all about how they live.

Day 5: Kruger N.P.

Again this morning depart early on another days game viewing in the Kruger Park – enjoy a bush lunch en route and return in the afternoon for your final dinner under the stars.

Day 6: Kruger N.P. - Johannesburg

Depart this morning and head back to the bustling city of Johannesburg (a full days driving in the coach) to your overnight stop conveniently located at the airport.

Day 7: Johannesburg - Victoria Falls

Returning to the airport this morning you catch a flight to Victoria Falls (flight not included). Arriving here, you will see our local team waiting to greet you and take you to the hotel. Spend the day at leisure here in this laid back city this evening we have the option of paying for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

Day 8: Victoria Falls

This morning we enjoy a Guided tour of Victoria falls which includes taking in the mighty falls and a walk through the Rainforest by a qualified Guide, who gives a brief history of the Falls and the surrounding flora, fauna, bird and wildlife. Raincoats and camera protective bags are provided when needed. Continue afterwards to the “charity of Rose” an organization that’s helping to transform the lives of sick and impoverished children in the region. . From here we head into Chinotimba village to spend some time with the locals and learn all about how they live. The later part of the afternoon is at your leisure to explore.

Day 9: Victoria Falls

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
