Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival into Nairobi airport you will be met and briefed on your safari before being transferred to your guest house. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli

This morning we start our safari with a drive to beautiful Amboseli National Park. The park is famed for its large herds of elephants and the stunning views of Africa's biggest mountain - Mount Kilimanjaro, which lies just over the border in Tanzania. After lunch under the acacia trees we head back out in our jeeps on the look out for some of Africa's stunning wildlife. By early evening we begin our journey back to the lodge to enjoy a refreshing beverage whilst the sun goes down.

Day 3: Amboseli - Lake Naivasha

This morning we leave Amboseli and head back to Nairobi in time for lunch at the famous Karen Blixen Coffee gardens in the beautiful leafy Karen district. After lunch we hit the road again heading through the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha jas a booming flower farmin industry and is also a tranquil safari setting.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha

An hour's drive from Naivasha sits Lake Nakuru, another of Kenya's great lakes. Lake Nakuru National Park is teeming with fantastic wildlife including giraffe, lion, leopard, zebra, rhinos and a number of different antelope. But what sets this wonderful park aside from the rest is its large number of flamingos that live in the lake. At the right time of year, they are so abundant that the lake looks like it has turned pink. After a game-packed day we head back to Naivasha in time to opt for an evening boat ride exploring the lake shore in more detail.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara N.P.

Leaving the Great Rift Valley behind us we drive to Kenya's famous Masai Mara. the setting for the Great Migration, countless wildlife documentaries and, of course, the Big 5. The Masai Mara is the highlight of any safari. Our adventure begins as soon as we arrive in the park gates and go straight into our first game drive as we drive to the lodge. We get ready to see plenty of plains and game as we make our way through the stunning landscapes. We arrive at the lodge before lunch and spend some time relaxing before heading out on an evening game drive.

Day 6: Masai Mara N.P.

Today we have an early start as we get up at sunrise hoping to catch the animals at their most active. Afterwards our game drive, breakfast is served overlooking the gardens and the park. Following this we head to a Masai Village to get a better understanding of their culture and way of life. Following lunch, in the late afternoon, we have one final leisurely game drive that can include sunset if you wish.

Day 7: Masai Mara N.P. - Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi

This morning we enjoy our last sunrise in the Masai Mara with tea or coffee on the veranda. We then transfer you to Nairobi airport for the flight to Kilimanjaro (This flight is not included, please book it in conjunction with your internation al ticket. On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport we weill transfer you to the hotel.

Day 8: Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi - Karatu

We spend the morning on a game drive through Tarangire National Park with its shimmering acacia sands, old baobab trees, Masai tribes and herds of elephant. In the dry season of July - October, Tarangire National Park surpasses the Serengeto on terms of animal concentration as big herds begin to congregate around the Tarangire River. In the afternoon we continue on to Karatu and our lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 9: Karatu - Serengeti N.P.

We set off to the vast plains of the Serengeti on a full day game drive taking a picnic lunch with us before checking into our lodge on the outskirts of the park. You will have more time to explore a larger area of the Serengeti, with its various landscapes, from savannahs, forests, dry river beds and rocky kopjes, all of which offering a better environment for a whole range of animals. Your picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a secluded spot in the park among the wildlife.

Day 10: Serengeti N.P.

There’s nothing like an early morning start allowing you to experience one of the most ultimate game viewing experiences. After a hot cup of tea or coffee you will soon be wide-awake as you watch wildlife in its most active time. The cat family love to make appearances in the morning, while the early morning light makes photographing herds of wildlife a photographer’s dream. After lunch at camp, return to the parks open plains.

Day 11: Serengeti N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater

Today we head to Ngorongoro Crater. This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8300 square kilometres. The actual crater is 260 square kilometres and 620m deep. The original volcano was probably as high or higher than Kilimanjaro.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater

To experience the crater without the crowds you will rise early for your half day game drive. Reaching the crater floor as the sun begins to rise; you will undoubtedly be amazed at this natural phenomenon before you. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 25,000 animals and is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen.

Day 13: Ngorongoro Crater

This morning we enjoy a final game drive at Lake Manyara National Park before being transferred back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight. Please make sure onward flights are booked AFTER 3pm.
