Day 1: Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi

The start of your Tanzania Wilderness Safari begins in the capital of safaris, Arusha. You will be collected from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your lodge for the night. Spend the afternoon or evening relaxing at leisure.

Day 2: Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi - Karatu

We spend the morning on a game drive through Tarangire National Park with its shimmering acacia sands, old baobab trees, Masai tribes and herds of elephant. In the dry season of July - October, Tarangire National Park surpasses the Serengeti on terms of animal concentration as big herds begin to congregate around the Tarangire River. In the afternoon we continue on to Karatu and our lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 3: Karatu

We head to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the crater floor itself, for an exciting game drive. We spend the morning exploring this fascinating wildlife amphitheatre, home to nearly 25,000 animals, which remain in the crater due to the constant supply of water from the springs.

Day 4: Karatu - Serengeti N.P.

This morning we set off to the vast plains of the Serengeti on a full day game drive taking a picnic lunch with us before checking into our lodge on the outskirts of the park. You will have more time to explore a larger area of the Serengeti, with its various landscapes, from savannahs, forests, dry river beds and rocky kopjes, all of which offering a better environment for a whole range of animals. Our picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a secluded spot in the park among the wildlife.

Day 5: Serengeti N.P.

Enjoy another full day on game drive in the magnificent Serengeti with an early start ensuring we see the animals at their most active.

Day 6: Serengeti N.P. - Zanzibar

After the thrills of the Serengeti we make our way to the airstrip this morning for a flight to Arusha. Arriving here, connect on your flight to Zanzibar. |Arriving into Zanzibar, you will see our driver waiting to take you onto your hotel.

Days 7-10: Zanzibar

Spend the next days at leisure, relaxing on the beautiful white sands and soaking up the sunshine. For those feeling active, there's a wide range of excursions available locally. Perhaps opt for a spot of snorkelling or scuba diving to see the incredible coral reefs teeming with exotic fish and perhaps the odd dolphin in the azure waters.

Day 11: Zanzibar

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in Zanzibar in time to catch your flight home.
