Day 1: Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. On arrival at the hotel you will be given a short safari briefing and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara N.P.

Today a drive from your lodge takes us to the understated Lake Manyara National Park, consisting of a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and Lake Manyara, an alkaline or soda-lake, to the east, and is famous for its population of flamingos. After lunch at your accommodations you will head out on a game drive to see the stunning wildlife, returning in the evening.

Day 3: Lake Manyara N.P. - Serengeti N.P.

Leaving Lake Manyara behind you will drive to Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world-wide wonder, the Serengeti National Park! Having taken picnic lunches with you the drive to the hotel is a game drive with lunch in a spectacular scenic area. You will arrive at your camp in the evening.

Day 4: Serengeti N.P.

Today you will set off on a full day game drive. You will have more time to explore a larger area of the Serengeti, with its various landscapes, from savannahs, forests, dry river beds and rocky kopjes, all of which offering a better environment for a whole range of animals.

Day 5: Serengeti N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater

Say goodbye to the enchanting Serengeti National Park only to be presented with another natural wonder, the Ngorongoro Crater. This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8300 square kilometres. The actual crater is 260 square kilometres and 620m deep. The original volcano was probably as high or higher than Kilimanjaro. Along the way you will enjoy picnic lunches and game viewing galore.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

To experience the crater without the crowds you will rise early for a full day game drive. Reaching the crater floor as the sun begins to rise, you will undoubtedly be amazed at this natural phenomenon before you. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 25,000 animals and is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen. Enjoy a picnic on the edge of one of the crater’s lake as you watch elephants quench their thirst from afar. Return to your lodge to relax and enjoy a well-earned evening feast and sundowner.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire N.P.

We depart after breakfast and take a picnic lunch box for our drive to Tarangire National Park. Once in the park we begin a game drive before heading back to camp for dinner.

Day 8: Tarangire N.P.

After breakfast, we drive to Arusha town to enjoy some free time for shopping and a hearty lunch before we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
