Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Nairobi airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. There is a short safari briefing before arriving at the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli

This morning we drive to Amboseli National Park in time for lunch at the lodge. Later on as the evening draws in we will head out on our first game drive in the park. Amboseli is most famous for its free ranging elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro - which on a clear day are truly breath-taking.

Day 3: Amboseli

As the sun rises on another day in Amboseli, we get up early to make the most of the early morning game drives. These early mornings are arguably the best time to try and view Mount Kilimanjaro in all its glory. Later on take an informative guided nature walk before dinner and our final night at the lodge.

Day 4: Amboseli - Lake Manyara N.P.

Today we cross the border into Tanzania where we are met and transferred to Arusha for lunch at the Mount Meru Hotel. After lunch we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive and an evening drive to the camp.

Day 5: Lake Manyara N.P. - Tarangire N.P.

We depart after breakfast and take a picnic lunch box for our drive to Tarangire National Park. Once in the park we begin a game drive before heading back to camp for dinner.

Day 6: Tarangire N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro where we descend down into the crater floor for a full day's game drive. By late afternoon we ascend back up the crater and drive to the lodge for the night.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti N.P.

After breakfast we drive to the Serengeti for two days of game driving in one of Africa's premier national parks. It is possible to catch a glimpse of all the 'Big Five' in one day if you're lucky. Lunches on this portion of the trip will be picnic lunches so as to gain as much time on the park as possible and maximise viewings.

Day 8: Serengeti N.P.

Enjoy your full days game driving in the Serengeti.

Day 9: Serengeti N.P. - Masai Mara N.P.

Today we leave the Serengeti with lunch boxed for the Masai Mara crossing the sirari border, here you have a change of drivers and vehicles at the border; proceed to the Masai Mara and enjoy a game drive from your lodge but only if time permits.

Days 10-11: Masai Mara N.P.

For today and tomorrow enjoy morning and afternoon game drives looking out for the 'Big Five' and lots of other wonderful animals that the park is famous for.

Day 12: Masai Mara N.P. - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast we depart for Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure where it is possible to take trips out in a boat, a Crescent Island Tour or visit Elsamere - the famous home of Born Free's Joy Adamson.

Day 13: Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

Today is spent travelling to Lake Nakuru and exploring this beautiful national park. Giraffe, antelope and birds are plentiful here and we may even be lucky enough to spot a lion or a leopard.

Day 14: Lake Nakuru

Today is the last day of the trip and arrangements end after transfers back to Nairobi Airport or city centre depending on your further arrangements hereafter.
