Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your voyage of discovery through the land of Pharaohs! Arriving into Cairo airport, our friendly local team await to drive you to your hotel. This evening why not venture for a drink and dinner in Zamalek downtown Cairo by river, at Bar Saqqoya or the more upmarket Hyatt Hotel. Overnight- Oasis Hotel

Day 2: Cairo

Today we tour the Pyramids at Giza Plateau. Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks, it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. The other two - Chephren and Mycerinus are equally impressive. Following this wevisit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse and explore the famed treasures of King Tutankhamen. Overnight- Oasis Hotel

Day 3: Cairo

After an early breakfast we drive to Alexandria to enjoy a fascinating day of Med sunshine and ancient wonders. Highlights include the Catacombs at Kom El Shoukafa and nearby Roman Ruins, Pompey's Pillar, Fort Qaitbay, and Montazah Palace Gardens.... the list goes on! We return to Cairo in the evening around 7-8 depending on traffic. Overnight- Oasis Hotel

Day 4: Cairo - Nairobi

Sadly your visit to Cairo has come to an end, we will be sure to transfer you to the airport in time for your overnight flight to Africa. (Flight not included.)

Day 5: Nairobi

Morning arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, you will be met at the arrival lounge by your driver guide and transferred to your city hotel for breakfast and check in at 1000 hrs. (We will request for an early check in subject to room availability) The rest of your day is at leisure. Overnight- Safari Park Hotel

Day 6: Nairobi - Masai Mara N.P.

After breakfast, we drive leisurely to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve arriving at your camp in the afternoon for lunch. After lunch, rejoin your driver guide for your game drive until sunset, then return back to your camp for dinner and overnight. Overnight - Elangata Olerai Camp

Day 7: Masai Mara N.P.

Spend this day with morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of Africa's most famous safari destinations. World renowned for its great wildlife population, the reserve stretches 1,510 sq km (580 sq miles) and raises 1,500-2,170 meters above sea level. The terrain of the reserve is primarily grassland and riverine forest with clumps of the distinctive acacia trees. This is where the Great wildebeest migration between the park and the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania unfolds with over TWO MILLION Wildebeest, Zebra and Thomson's Gazelle migrating annually. Day 8: Masai Mara N.P.

Today, the same as yesterday enjoy your amazing surroundings with morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve. Overnight - Flamingo Hill Camp

Day 9: Masai Mara N.P. - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, we drive to the famous Lake Nakuru National Park. We arrive by mid day enjoying a game drive en route to your camp. In the afternoon, rejoin your driver guide for an afternoon game drive in the park until sunset. Lake Nakuru, christened "The bird watchers paradise" and described as the greatest ornithological site in the world is a top touristic destination with over 400 recorded species of birds. Other than birdlife the park boasts of other animals such as Lions, White Rhinos, African Buffalos, Rothschild Giraffes, Zebras, Impalas, Olive Baboons, Vervet Monkeys and Waterbucks. In the afternoon, rejoin your driver guide and head out for your afternoon game drive till late afternoon.

Day 10: Lake Nakuru

Breakfast at the camp, we pick up picnic lunches and depart for a morning game drive in the park en route to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon for dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. The Carnivore is a unique experience. This open-air meat specialty restaurant has become a standard stop on the safari trail. Every type of meat imaginable, including four choices of wild game, is roasted on traditional Maasai swords (skewers) over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant. After dinner, you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for Emirates flight EK722 with fond memories of Kenya!
