Day 1: Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in. You will later be transferred to the Karen area of Nairobi where you will visit The giraffe Center and Karen Blixen Museum, followed by lunch at Karen Blixen Museum. Overnight and breakfast at your hotel

Day 2: Nairobi - Samburu N.R.

After breakfast, drive to Samburu National Reserve. As you enter the reserve, two beautiful mountains, Koitogor and Ololokwe present themselves forming the perfect background to your safari. Large herds of elephants, plentiful big cats, reticulated giraffes, buffalo and gerenuks also form part of the reserve’s large and diverse wildlife population. Ewaso Nyiro River is the main attraction for wildlife, but many animals are also found in the various habitats such as acacia, river forest, thorn trees and grasslands. You will arrive at your lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon, go on your first safari drive in the Samburu. All meals and overnight at Samburu Lodge

Day 3: Samburu N.R.

Sleep in or rise early, but we recommend getting out into bush first thing to experience prime wildlife activity. As you continue with your game drive through this scenically and wildlife dramatic reserve, watch out for the unique Grevy’s zebra or Beisa Oryx, both species only found north of the equator. Find relief from the hot African sun back at the lodge as you chill-out in the afternoon. As the day cools, you shall return to the reserve for one last game drive. All meals and overnight at your lodge

Day 4: Samburu N.R. - Lake Nakuru

Depart after breakfast to Lake Nakuru National Park, with picnic lunches. Stop at Thomson’s Falls to admire the view before proceeding to the park arriving in the late afternoon, and enjoy a game drive before check in at the camp. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for the thousands of lesser and greater flamingos that flock to this soda lake’s edge. The numbers vary depending on the water level, and when it’s low, the lake almost turns pink. A truly spectacular sight! The park was established as a sanctuary for black and white rhino, which are often seen. Dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara N.P.

Depart after breakfast and drive to Masai Mara arriving for lunch at your lodge. For your stay in Mara you will be at the Mara Simba Lodge. Situated on a bend of the Talek River the Mara Simba lodge is surrounded by beautiful gardens and amazing wildlife in the heart of the Masai Mara. Famous for the great migration the Mara is the most popular stop on anyone’s safari to Kenya. Days 6-7: Masai Mara N.P.

Masai Mara National Park. Over the following two days you will make the most of your stay in Masai Mara National Park with morning and afternoon game drives with free time to relax in the evening. The Masai Mara is most famous for its large population of big cats. All members of the big five are also present in the Masai Mara and other species from hippos, zebra, antelope, gazelle, giraffe, impala, hyena and more. Day 8: Masai Mara N.P.

Masai Mara - Nairobi. After breakfast you will drive back to Nairobi for lunch at the aptly named Carnivore Restaurant before your onward transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where tour arrangements end.
