Cape Point, South Africa

Day 1: Cape Town

Welcome to Sensational South Africa! On arrival into Cape Town Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our friendly local team. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure exploring South Africa’s mother city or relaxing at the hotel. Overnight The Three Boutique Hotel.

Day 2: Cape Town

Embark on a half day tour of Cape Town with the option at the end to take a cable car up Table Mountain for spectacular views of the city. Your tour will take in the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (built between 1666 and 1679 - making it South Africa's oldest building) and the lively Greenmarket Square. If you choose to head up the mountain you will visit Bo-Kaap after this. Bo-Kaap is home to the Cape Malay community and is full of cobbled streets and brightly coloured houses. From here you have the choice to be dropped at the Waterfront to experience the vibrant location or at the hotel. Overnight The Three Boutique Hotel.

Day 3: Cape Town

Today take an excursion to the beautiful Winelands for wine tasting on one of the many estates in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Your first stop is Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa with canal lined avenues, and magnificent examples of Cape Dutch architecture. Onward over the scenic Helshoogte Pass, to Franschoek, founded by French Hugenots over 350 years ago. Your final stop is at the town of Paarl, at the foot of a cluster of remarkable granite domes where you do your last wine tasting before heading back to Cape Town for New Years eve! Day 4: Cape Town

Happy New Year! Today you embark on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsular. Take in the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to Hout Bay, where you may choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. From here you drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives. This afternoon continue to Simonstown, the naval base, and visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach. Then stop at the world- renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens before arriving at your hotel for overnight. Overnight The Three Boutique Hotel.

Day 5: Cape Town - Kruger N.P.

This morning you fly (not included) to Hoedspruit and then transfer to the Kapama Game Reserve, part of Greater Kruger National Park. Enjoy the first of your game drives this afternoon to see the incredible wildlife.

Days 6-7: Kruger N.P.

Today and tomorrow are spent searching for the Big Five on various game drives in South Africa’s flagship park.

Day 8: Kruger N.P. - Livingstone

This morning returning to the airport you will be flying (not included) into Livingstone, on the Zambian side of the Falls. After your arrival transfer spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9: Livingstone

Today we take a tour of the mighty Victoria Falls in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800s as 'Mosi-oa-Tunya' - 'the Smoke that Thunders' and in more modern terms the greatest known curtain of falling water. Victoria Falls are a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe. A path along the edge of the forest provides the visitor with an unparalleled series of views of the Falls, if you are prepared to brave the spray. In the evening enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise along the Zambezi River.

Day 10: Livingstone

Today we visit the Mukuni Village. The Mukuni Village is home to the Leya people. On this tour you have the opportunity to learn more about this interesting culture whilst being shown around the village homes and Chief Mkuni's Palace as well as having the opportunity to try out their traditional food and beer. This is a real village with a population in the region of 5000.

Day 11: Livingstone

Sadly your journey has reached its conclusion, after breakfast or later depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to Livingstone airport for your onward flight
