Day 1: Nairobi - Mt Kenya

Welcome to Kenya and the start of your adventure with On the Go Tours! Upon your arrival at Nairobi's international airport you will be met by our local representative and transferred to the Sweetwaters Serena Camp, a drive of approximately four hours. Here you will experience a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and safari luxury in a sheltered oasis beside a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Your game viewing experience will commence this afternoon.

Day 2: Mt Kenya

Ol Pejeta conservancy is home to all of the ‘Big Five’ members, and being one of only four private game conservancies found in Kenya, the area has a higher wildlife concentration than any of Kenya`s national parks, making it perfect for intimate game-viewing experiences. Today we will have morning and afternoon game drives in this wildlife rich sanctuary. A night game drive is also included on this day.

Day 3: Mt Kenya - Nairobi

This morning after breakfast, depart for Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon. You will check in to your hotel – the Giraffe Manor for lunch, and in the afternoon you will have an opportunity to visit the Giraffe center. Included during your stay are transportation around the Karen & Langata area (within the check-in and check-out times), all meals, house wines, house soft drinks, house beers, house spirits, laundry, wireless internet access, entrance to the AFEW Giraffe Center.

Day 4: Nairobi - Samburu N.R.

This morning you will be transferred to the domestic airport in the Giraffe Manor vehicle for your flight to Samburu departing at 0915 hrs to arrive at 1030 hrs. On arrival you will be met by the camp vehicle and transferred to the camp with animal viewing en route. As you enter the reserve, you will be able to see two beautiful mountains, Koitogor and Ololokwe, which form the perfect background to your safari. Large herds of elephants comprise some of the reserve’s large and diverse wildlife population, which also includes numerous big cats, reticulated giraffes, buffalo and gerenuks. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive, before returning to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Samburu N.R.

Sleep in or rise early today but if you want to see the animals at their most active, take advantage of the cool early morning to maximise your game viewing experience. As you continue with your game drive through this wildlife rich reserve, watch out for the unique species only found north of the equator, which include the helmeted guinea fowl, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra and Beisa oryx. Seek relief from the hot African sun back at the camp where you will spend the afternoon relaxing. As the day cools, you can return to the reserve for one last game drive and enjoy a sundowner at a beautiful location, before returning to the camp for an opulent dinner before retiring to your room.

Days 6-7: Samburu N.R.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives over the next two days.

Day 8: Samburu N.R. - Masai Mara N.P.

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to the Mara departing at 0830 hrs to arrive at 1015 hrs. You will be met on arrival and transferred to the camp with animal viewing en route. Lunch at the camp is followed by an afternoon game drive in the famous Mar Reserve, before you return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Masai Mara N.P.

Morning and afternoon game drives in the Mara reserve in the camp’s shared vehicles. The Mara Intrepids camp also boasts a kid’s adventure club. Recommended for children accompanying their parents on safari this family program provides an fun and exciting opportunity for the kids to learn about the wild from our Masai naturalists who specialize in plants, wildlife and survival skills. Children will be edu-tained through various activities and facilities on-site including an obstacle course that portrays the challenges wild animals face, don’t be surprised if you child comes out looking like Mowgli from Rudyard Kipling’s all time favourite Jungle Book.

Days 10-12: Masai Mara N.P.

Enjoy morning and afternoon games drives for the next three days.

Day 13: Masai Mara N.P. - Mombasa

Breakfast and lunch at the camp. Thereafter, transfer to the airstrip fro your flight to Mombasa departing at 1400 hrs to arrive at 1630 hrs. On arrival, you will met by our local representative who will transfer you to your hotel, booked on an all inclusive meal plan.

Days 14-19: Mombasa

The next six days are completely free for you to enjoy Mombasa and your hotel at leisure. East Africa’s finest resort, Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa is conveniently located on one of the longest magnificent beach fronts on the Kenyan coast. For dining and entertainment, guests can choose from three themed superb restaurants, two great bars, and the exclusive Cocos Beach Bar, overlooking the beautiful Mombasa Ocean. There are four outdoor swimming pools with water slides, spring board, diving boards and four floodlit tennis courts that also serve as a landing ground for helicopters. A fully equipped wellness and fitness club with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a PADI diving centre and a host of water sports, like snorkelling and jet skiing are also available.

Day 20: Mombasa

Sadly today marks the end of your incredible African adventure. After breakfast and hotel check out you will be transferred to the airport for your onward departure flight. End of services.
