Day 1: Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi - Karatu

Welcome to Tanzania. Please arrange your flights for an early morning arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met by our local team. Spend the morning on a game drive through Tarangire National Park with its shimmering acacia sands, old baobab trees, Masai tribes and herds of elephant. In the dry season of July - October, Tarangire National Park surpasses the Serengeti on terms of animal concentration as big herds begin to congregate around the Tarangire River. In the afternoon we continue on to Karatu and our lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 2: Karatu - Serengeti N.P.

We set off to the vast plains of the Serengeti on a full day game drive taking a picnic lunch with us before checking into our lodge on the outskirts of the park. You will have more time to explore a larger area of the Serengeti, with its various landscapes, from savannahs, forests, dry river beds and rocky kopjes, all of which offering a better environment for a whole range of animals. Our picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a secluded spot in the park among the wildlife.
