Day 1: Victoria Falls

Welcome to Victoria Falls and the start of your African Adventure. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Victoria Falls

Enjoy a 2 hour tour of the falls today. It is a truly awe-inspiring experience. No photograph can begin to depict the reality and nothing prepares you for your first sight. You will be accompanied through the Rainforest by a qualified Guide, who will give a brief history of the Falls and the surrounding flora, fauna, bird and wildlife. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 3: Victoria Falls

Today is at your leisure to choose from an endless number of activities that Victoria Falls has to offer. From white water rafting, canoeing, helicopter flights, elephant back safaris, canopy tours and adventure slides, river cruises, and golf, there is something for everyone. (Book and pay locally)

Day 4: Victoria Falls - Arusha

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport (not included) You will be met and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the remains of the day at leisure.

Day 5: Arusha - Lake Manyara N.P.

After breakfast set out for Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is a scenic park, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. Enjoy dinner at your lodge and relax for the evening, listening to the sounds of the wilderness around you.

Day 6: Lake Manyara N.P.

Enjoy morning and evening game drives today. Lake Manyara National Park is only 330 square kilometres in area, of which about 230 square kilometres are lake. It contains a large variety of habitats: the rift wall, the ground water forest, acacia woodland, areas of open grassland, the lake shore, swamp, and the lake itself. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, lying languidly among the branches in the heat of the day, the park also has large buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe dik dik and over 400 species of birds.

Days 7-8: Lake Manyara N.P. - Serengeti N.P.

Today head to the stunning landscape of the mighty Serengeti National Park, renowned for its annual migration of wildebeests. The vast open plains of the Serengeti offer arguably the most scintillating game viewing in Africa. The Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world-wide wonder. Spend the next two days going in search of wildlife on early morning and evening game drives. There will be some great photo opportunities so have your camera ready.

Day 9: Serengeti N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater

Imagine a giant bowl teeming with wildlife, in the middle of the African bush and you are close to an idea of the Ngorongoro Crater where we will be travelling to today. Thanks to a permanent water and pasture source, the crater floor plays host to nearly every species of African animal. Zebra, buffalo, black rhino and wildebeest graze amongst the predatory lion, cheetah and hyena. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the last remaining areas in Tanzania where you can see the endangered Black Rhino.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater

Early this morning we descend down on to the crater floor for a game drive and enjoy a picnic on the shores of one of the crater’s lakes for lunch.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater - Zanzibar

Depart for Arusha today for our flight to Zanzibar. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Days 12-13: Zanzibar

Spend the next 2 days relaxing on the beautiful white sands soaking up the sunshine or perhaps visit a splice plantation, opt for a spot of snorkelling or scuba diving to see the incredible coral reefs teeming with exotic fish and even the odd dolphin in the azure waters. Explore UNESCO listed Stone Town rich in history and culture, with a labyrinth of narrow streets, ancient buildings and bustling bazaars.

Day 14: Zanzibar

Your tour with us comes to an end today. You will be transferred to Zanzibar for your onward flight. We truly hope you will have had a great time, collecting many wonderful memories of our beautiful continent.
