Day 3: Tarangire N.P.

Today we make the most of Tarangire National Park with both morning and afternoon game drives. The landscape is iconically African with open Acacia woodlands and Baobab trees scattered all over the area and wildlife galore - zebra, kudu, eland, impala, gazelle, buffalo, wildebeest, leopard, rhino just to name a few of what this park has to offer.

Day 4: Tarangire N.P. - Serengeti N.P.

Leaving the Tarangire behind you will drive to Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world-wide wonder, the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy the first of your game drives this afternoon in the national park.

Day 5: Serengeti N.P.

Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. Spend the entire day out on 4x4 to see the wildlife which is broken up with a hearty lunch at camp.

Day 6: Serengeti N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater

Say goodbye to the enchanting Serengeti National Park only to be presented with another natural wonder, the Ngorongoro Crater. This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8300 square kilometres. The actual crater is 260 square kilometres and 620m deep. The original volcano was probably as high or higher than Kilimanjaro.

Lunch time at Limpopo Transfrontier Park

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

To experience the crater without the crowds you will rise early for a half day game drive. Reaching the crater floor as the sun begins to rise, you will undoubtedly be amazed at this natural phenomenon before you. Enjoy a picnic on the edge of one of the crater’s lake as you watch elephants quench their thirst from afar. We then enjoy further game drive before returning to camp for a well earned sundowner.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater - Zanzibar

We leave the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast and head back to Arusha where you catch a flight to Zanzibar. Arriving here, meet our driver who will take you to your hotel.

Days 9-10: Zanzibar

Spend the next two days at leisure, relaxing on the beautiful white sands and soaking up the sunshine. For those feeling active, there's a wide range of excursions available locally. Perhaps opt for a spot of snorkelling or scuba diving to see the incredible coral reefs teeming with exotic fish and perhaps the odd dolphin in the azure waters.

Day 11: Zanzibar

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
