Day 1: Cape Town

Welcome to Sensational South Africa! Arriving into Cape Town Airport you will see our friendly local team waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Overnight - Trevoyan Guest House.

Day 2: Cape Town

Enjoy a tour of Cape Town with the option at the end to take a cable car up Table Mountain for spectacular views of the city. Your tour will take in the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (built between 1666 and 1679 - making it South Africa's oldest building) and the lively Greenmarket Square with its daily market, the Company Gardens. If you choose to head up the mountain you will visit Bo-Kaap after this head up the mountain. From here you have the choice to be dropped at the Waterfront to experience the vibrant location at your own pace with its many shops, restaurants and bars - or at te hotel at the end of your tour. Day 3: Cape Town

Today you embark on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Take in the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to Hout Bay, where you may choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. From here you drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you will board a funicular to get to the top of the Peninsula to wirness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. This afternoon continue to Simonstown, the naval base, and visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach. Then stop at the world- renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens before heading back to your hotel. Overnight - Trevoyan Guest House.

Day 4: Cape Town

Today take an excursion to the beautiful Winelands for wine tasting in one of the many estates in each wine producing town of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. This delightful drive winds its way through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Overnight - Trevoyan Guest House.

Day 5: Cape Town

Today is at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight - Trevoyan Guest House.

Day 6: Cape Town - Oudtshoorn

This morning we depart Cape Town and surrounding areas and transfer to Oudtshoorn via Route 62. We drive past winelands villages such as Paarl, Worcester, Robertson, Montagu, Barrydale, Ladismith and Calitzdorp and will stop to taste wine and have lunch at one of them. Arriving into Oudtshoorn we visit the fascinating Cango Caves.

Day 7: Oudtshoorn - Knysna

Transfer from Oudtshoorn to Knysna passing George, Wilderness, Sedgefield and the Swartvlei Lakes. Arriving in Knysna, enjoy an included cruise on Knysna Lagoon - Visit the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Enjoy free time to explore this beautiful town at leisure for the remainder of the afternoon.

Day 8: Knysna

This morning we visit the Garden of Eden on your way to Plettenberg Bay enjoy a scenic walk around the point of the peninsular, and free time to explore before we return to Knysna.

Day 9: Knysna - Cape Town

This morning we explore Mossel Bay and see the Bartholomeus Diaz Museum and Caravelle. We then drive to Cape Town past the towns of Albertinia, Riversdale, Swellendam, Caledon and Somerset West. Overnight - Trevoyan Guest House.

Day 10: Cape Town - Victoria Falls

This morning we transfer you back to the airport in time for your 06:10 AM Flight. Arriving into Victoria Falls at 12:35, meet our driver who will take you to your hotel.

Day 11: Victoria Falls

Take a two hour morning or afternoon tour of the mighty Victoria Falls in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Victoria Falls are a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe. You will be accompanied through the Rainforest by a qualified Guide, who gives a brief history of the Falls and the surrounding flora, fauna, bird and wildlife. Raincoats and camera protective bags are provided when needed. The remainder of today is at your leisure to explore.

Day 12: Victoria Falls

Today we will transfer you by road to Chobe National Park and you will have a boat cruise on the Chobe River. On the boat cruise on the Chobe River you will be able to watch elephants, hippos, lions, crocodiles and a variety of birds and more without having to reach for your binoculars. After time for lunch at a lodge (pay locally) we enjoy an open top Safari Game driver then return back to Victoria Falls by the evening around 18:00.

Day 13: Victoria Falls - Johannesburg

Enjoy a morning to explore at leisure. Later we transfer you to the airport for your flight to J'Burg. Arriving here, you will take the hotels free shuttle bus transfer to the hotel.

Day 14: Johannesburg - Dar es Salaam

This morning catch the hotels free shuttle service to the airport in time for your flight to Dar Es Salaam. Arriving into Dar at 14:00, we will transfer you to an airport area hotel. (although pre arranged - please speak to the concierge at some point, regarding your luggage and what bags will be put with them for your time on Safari)

Day 15: Dar es Salaam - Karatu

This morning we fly to Arusha. Arriving here, We spend the morning on a game drive through Tarangire National Park with its shimmering acacia sands, old baobab trees, Masai tribes and herds of elephant. In the dry season of July - October, Tarangire National Park surpasses the Serengeti on terms of animal concentration as big herds begin to congregate around the Tarangire River. In the afternoon we continue on to Karatu and our lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 16: Karatu - Serengeti N.P.

Today we set off to the vast plains of the Serengeti on a full day game drive taking a picnic lunch with us before checking into our lodge on the outskirts of the park. You will have more time to explore a larger area of the Serengeti, with its various landscapes, from savannahs, forests, dry river beds and rocky kopjes, all of which offering a better environment for a whole range of animals. Our picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a secluded spot in the park among the wildlife.

Days 17-18: Serengeti N.P.

Today and tomorrow, enjoy full day safaris in the magnificent Serengeti awaits with early starts ensuring we see the animals at their most active in replacement of a game drive you can also engage in a half day walking safari or village experience.

Day 19: Serengeti N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater

After the thrills of the Serengeti game drive, we have a full day driving through the Serengeti towards the Ngorongoro Crater along the way we will stop to explore Oludavai Gorge. Ending up at the spectacular Crater Lodge by evening.

Day 20: Ngorongoro Crater

Today we enjoy a full day game drive in the Crater. Home to nearly 25,000 animals, which remain in the crater due to the constant supply of water from the springs. There is a very good chance of spotting the big five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species.

Day 21: Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara N.P.

Rising early we head off for a morning Safari in the crater. After, we depart for and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose shores are a shimmer of pink, due to the large flamingo population and which was dubbed as the ‘loveliest lake in Africa’ by Ernest Hemingway.

Day 22: Lake Manyara N.P.

Early rise for our game drive in the National Park. We the head to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch the later afternoon flight to Dar Es Salaam. Arriving here, we transfer you to the hotel to collect your bags and you have a room you can rest in for the wait until we transfer you around 23:00 to the airport for your flight onward that departs at 2:00 AM on the 12th March
