Day 1: Nairobi

Welcome to Nairobi! Upon arrival at the international airport we will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara N.P.

Depart after breakfast and drive to Masai Mara. Lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon, you will have a game drive in Masai Mara Reserve. The Mara is technically an extension of Tanzania’s renowned Serengeti National Park, but it’s rolling grasslands, meandering rivers and towering escarpments equals to an endless amount of game viewing. Home to a wide variety of animals, the Mara is also famous for its Big Five.

Day 3: Masai Mara N.P.

Another fabulous day in the Masai Mara awaits you as you wake early ready for your early morning game drive. Early mornings are one of the best times to view game in the Mara as the animals are at their most active before the heat of the day kicks in. Back at the Lodge breakfast will be waiting for you on your return. After breakfast a morning by the pool or relaxing with a good book awaits you. Alternatively you can explore the grounds with a guide, spotting the smaller animals of the Mara on foot (extra cost). After lunch another game drive out in the Reserve spotting and ticking off some of those must see animals from your list is a rewarding way to spend the afternoon before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 4: Masai Mara N.P.

Rise early and take the option of a balloon safari across the Masai Mara. Take off in the crisp morning air, only to experience a game-viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective. As you silently float across the plains, forest and rivers for approximately an hour, your journey comes to end back on land but accompanied with a fully cooked champagne breakfast. The day sees more game viewing both in the morning and late afternoon. For the bird lovers there are over 450 species that have been identified in the Masai Mara Ecosystem.

Day 5: Masai Mara N.P. - Serengeti N.P.

As the sun rises on your last morning in the Masai Mara you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge. You will be transferred to the airstrip with picnic lunch for your flight to Migori departing at 1130 hrs to arrive at 1200 hrs, meet with our Tanzania vehicle/guide and drive to Serengeti National Park game drive on route to arriving at Kati Kati Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti N.P.

Today you will set off on a full day game drive taking a picnic lunch with you. You will have more time to explore a larger area of the Serengeti, with its various landscapes, from savannahs, forests, dry river beds and rocky kopjes, all of which offering a better environment for a whole range of animals. Your picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a secluded spot in the park among the wildlife.

Day 7: Serengeti N.P. - Karatu

After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes and depart for a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park, evening return to Kati Kati Tented Camp for dinner and overnight

Day 8: Karatu

Reaching the crater floor as the sun begins to rise, you will undoubtedly be amazed by the size of the crater and also the abundance of wildlife. It is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen. The NCA is a World Heritage Site and is unique because it is a multi-use conservation area - where the animals and environment are protected and the Masai are allowed graze their cattle. Enjoy a picnic on the edge of one of the crater’s lake as you watch elephants quench their thirst.

Day 9: Karatu - Tarangire N.P.

After breakfast, depart and drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive with picnic lunch boxes, evening drive to Maramboi Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Tarangire N.P. - Zanzibar

After breakfast, depart and drive to Arusha, lunch at Shanga House, after lunch transfer to Arusha airport for Schedule flight depart at 1400hrs arrive Zanzibar at 1520hrs met and transfer to Tembo Hotel for overnight.

Day 11: Zanzibar

Full day at leisure, to explore Stone Town on your own.

Day 12: Zanzibar

We will transfer you through to the Gold Zanzibar hotel today and our services will end upon arrival at the hotel.
