Cape Point, South Africa

Day 1: Cape Town

Welcome to Sensational South Africa! and the start of your exclusive journey. Arriving into Cape Town airport, you will see our friendly local team waiting to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cape Town

This morning you will be collected for your exclusive full day Cape Point & Peninsula Tour – an awe-inspiring tour passing magnificent beaches, breath-taking views and historic & picturesque coastal villages to the towering headland known as Cape Point. This tour also includes Boulders Beach and Cape Peninsula National Park. The tour ends upon return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Cape Town

We commence our day with a cable car trip up the legendary Table Mountain for spectacular views of the Mother City and the surrounding peninsula. The afternoon is at leisure to explore. Optional Shark Cage diving can be done today.

Day 4: Cape Town

Today we head off on the Walk to Freedom excursion which details the some of the history of the apartheid and post apartheid eras, and includes a visit to Robben Island.

Day 5: Cape Town - Oudtshoorn

We travel by private car with driver to Oudtshoorn today, taking in the Cango Caves with the beautiful stalagmites and stalactites and an ostrich farm, once the main economy of this region.

Day 6: Oudtshoorn - Stellenbosch

Early morning we travel by private car with driver to Stellanbosch. Here, we spend the day visiting at least 3 different wineries to learn all about the process of making wine and of course, some tastings.

Day 7: Stellenbosch - Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park

This morning we drive back to Capetown airport and we catch a flight to Durban. Arriving here, our driver is waiting to take you by private car to your hotel in Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park area.

Day 8: Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park

An early breakfast is served at the Lodge after which guests depart the Lodge to embark on an exclusive 2 hour boat trip on the Lake St Lucia Estuary. The focus of this safari is to seek out bird life, hippo and crocodile and other animals and birds in the Wetlands. After a picnic lunch and an exploration through the western shores reserve, you then return to the Lodge for tea in the late afternoon.

Day 9: Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park - Sabi Sabi Private G.R.

This morning we return to Durban Airport in time for the direct flight to Kruger National Park. Arriving into Kruger Airport, meet the lodge team who await to drive you to your lodgings. (OVERNIGHT AT THE Nottens Bush Camp)

Days 10-11: Sabi Sabi Private G.R.

Stretching virtually all the way along the border with Mozambique, it’s said that Kruger has the greatest variety of wildlife in Africa. Lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, giraffe are present as are a profusion of herbivores. Seeing the wildlife in their natural habitat is a wonderful experience, especially at a waterhole. Spend today and tomorrow exploring the Greater Kruger National Park and spotting wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives. (OVERNIGHT AT THE Nottens Bush Camp)

Day 12: Sabi Sabi Private G.R. - Johannesburg

Early this morning you will fly to Johannesburg. Arriving here, catch the hotels shuttle service to your hotel. This afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the Apartheid Museum to understand the overthrowing racial discrimination of the apartheid era. A fundamental experience for those wanting to understand the true implications of apartheid in South Africa.

Day 13: Johannesburg - Victoria Falls

This morning catch the hotels shuttle service to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. Arriving here, meet with our driver who will bring you to your hotel. This evening we have included for you a fantastic BOMA dinner.

Day 14: Victoria Falls

This morning we take a two hour morning tour of the mighty Victoria Falls in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. You will be accompanied through the Rainforest by a qualified Guide, who gives a brief history of the Falls and the surrounding flora, fauna, bird and wildlife. Raincoats and camera protective bags are provided when needed. This afternoon we have included for you a cruise on the Zambezi River which includes local brand drinks and snacks.

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the area.

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to Victoria Falls Airport in time for your flight home.
