Welcome to Africa! Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport you will be met and transferred to your lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park where you will spend the next three nights. Overnight Kapama River Lodge
Stretching virtually all the way along the border with Mozambique, it’s said that Kruger has the greatest variety of wildlife in Africa. Lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, giraffe are present as are a profusion of herbivores. Seeing the wildlife in their natural habitat is a wonderful experience, especially at a waterhole. Spend the next two days exploring the Greater Kruger National Park and spotting wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight Kapama River Lodge
This morning transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport (private transfer) for your flight to Cape Town (not included). You will be met at the airport upon arrival and transferred to Acorn Hotel (private transfer) where you will spend the next four nights. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Acorn House is an intimate guest house located in the residential suburb of Oranjezicht in Cape Town. A national monument, the house is over 100 years old and sits at the foot of Table Mountain just above Cape Town city and offering a central and convenient location. Overnight Acorn House
Today embark on a half day tour of Cape Town with the option at the end to take a cable car up Table Mountain for spectacular views of the city (cable car tickets not included) . Your tour takes in the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (built between 1666 and 1679 - making it South Africa's oldest building) and the lively Greenmarket Square with its daily market, the Company Gardens and Table Mountain. If you choose to head up the mountain you will visit Bo-Kaap after this. Bo-Kaap is home to the Cape Malay community and is full of cobbled streets and brightly coloured houses. Overnight Acorn House
Enjoy an excursion to the beautiful Winelands for wine tasting on one of the many estates in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. This delightful drive winds its way through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Your first stop is Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa with canal lined avenues where you enjoy your first wine tasting. Onward over the scenic Helshoogte Pass, to Franschoek, founded by French Hugenots over 350 years ago, and widely regarded as the culinary capital of South Africa. Your final stop is Paarl, at the foot of a cluster of remarkable granite domes where you do your last wine tasting before heading back to Cape Town. Overnight Acorn House
Today embark on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Take in the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to Hout Bay, where you may choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. Continue on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breath taking coastal drives, where you will board a funicular to get to the top of the Peninsula to witness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and enjoy spectacular views over False Bay. This afternoon continue to Simonstown, the naval base, and visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach. Stop at the world- renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens before returning to your hotel. Overnight Acorn House
After breakfast transfer to Cape Town Airport (private transfer) for your flight to Victoria Falls (not included). Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for the next three nights (shared transfer) One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Victoria Falls is one of Africa's greatest geographical features. At 1700 metres wide and over 100 metres in height visitors cannot fail to be inspired and amazed by the sheer size, power and beauty of the thundering curtain of water which can be gazed upon from 16 view points along a network of trails through the surrounding rainforest. Today we take a two tour of the mighty Victoria Falls. It is a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell and the humbling feeling that here indeed, is Natures Supreme Masterpiece. No photograph can begin to depict the reality and nothing prepares you for your first sight. You will be accompanied through the Rainforest by a qualified Guide, who gives a brief history of the Falls and the surrounding flora, fauna, bird and wildlife. Today is spent at your leisure. With its welcoming small town atmosphere Victoria Falls is home to a seemingly endless number of activities - there is literally something for everyone. An impressive array of arts and crafts is showcased by talented local artists in the open air curio market as well as at a number of gallery's and shops throughout town.
