Day 1: Johannesburg

Welcome to Africa! On arrival your hotel will provide you with a complimentary airport shuttle services. The evening is your free to relax. Johannesburg stems from gold and diamond mining, dating back to the 1800’s, and the city’s local name, Egoli, means The City of Gold. Today Johannesburg is the powerhouse of Africa and home to the continents busiest airport. Johannesburg is a wealthy and fast-paced city, one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, earning its reputation as the 'New York of Africa', while also being considered as one of the largest man-made forests in the world

Days 2-13: Johannesburg

Today once again receive a complimentary airport shuttle to the airport to begin your African Lodge Safari!

Days 14-17: Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi - Zanzibar

Today our lodge safari comes to an and and after your flight to Zanzibar you will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. The next few days are yous to relax and explore in Zanzibar! With pristine white sand beaches, azure waters and laid back beach bars, Zanzibar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine after an action packed safari. UNESCO listed Stone Town is rich in history and culture, with a labyrinth of narrow streets, ancient buildings and bustling bazaars and Nungwi in the north is a beautiful beachside resort with plenty of bars, restaurants and local markets. Zanzibar, ‘the spice island,’ has an extremely interesting history and culture as it was the centre of the slave and spice trades in the 1800s.

Day 18: Zanzibar - Johannesburg

Today our arrangements in Zanzibar come to an end with a transfer to the airport for our flight to Victoria Falls via Johannesburg. On arrival you will receive a complimentary arrival transfer may enjoy the evening at your leisure. The Peermont Metcourt Suites offers affordable accommodation at Emperors Palace Resort in Johannesburg. Located next to O.R. Tambo International Airport, Emperors Palace is set in landscaped gardens and offers accommodation, relaxation facilities, a magnificent casino, dining and entertainment.

Day 19: Johannesburg - Victoria Falls

This morning wake up feeling fresh and relaxed for your complimentary transfer to the airport to continue your journey onto Victoria Falls. The iconic town of Victoria Falls, which is affectionately known as "Vic Falls", is set on the southern bank of the Zambezi River, at the western end of the mighty Victoria Falls. Zimbabwe's prime tourist destination and a magnet for visitors from around the world Vic Falls has a rich and romantic history. Discovered in 1855 by explorer and missionary David Livingstone, the railway from Cape Town arrived in 1904 and the landmark 198 metre long Victoria Falls Bridge, spanning the immense Zambezi River gorge and linking Zimbabwe with Zambia, was built in 1905. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 20: Victoria Falls

Today we have included an Adventure Pass which includes any two of the following activities as well as a free sunset cruise: half day am/pm elephant back safari; low/high white water rafting; upper Zambezi canoeing; high-wire adrenalin combo; 12-13 minute helicopter flight; am/pm lion walk ( Please note : Park/river usage fees are applicable to some of these activities and are not included in the package rate.) The package inncludes transfers from hotels in Victoria Falls town.

Day 21: Victoria Falls

Today is a free day for your to explore the falls. Your hotel package includes a courtesy shuttle service that operates throughout the day to Victoria Falls Town and the entrance to the Rainforest and Falls. One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Victoria Falls is one of Africa's greatest geographical features. At 1700 metres wide and over 100 metres in height visitors cannot fail to be inspired and amazed by the sheer size, power and beauty of the thundering curtain of water which can be gazed upon from 16 view points along a network of trails through the surrounding rainforest.

Day 22: Victoria Falls

Today is our final day in Africa when our arrangements come to an end with a departure transfer to the airport and lots of amazing memories.
