Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli

Welcome to Kenya! Arrive into Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will be met and transferred to the Karen district of Nairobi where you will visit the Giraffe Centre and Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. After Lunch at Safarilink Restaurant we will transfer you to Wilson Airport for the scheduled flight to Amboseli. Seeing the wildlife from above is a great experience, as you fly over the savannah to the park. You will be met on arrival and transferred to Tortilis Camp, which is dwarfed by the snow capped peak of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later on you will head out on a game drive.

Days 2-3: Amboseli

Over the next 2 days, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is one of the most popular safari parks in Kenya. The park is renowned for the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa. Guided bush walks (with a trained Masai guide) are included. A visit to one of the local Masai manyattas (villages) can also be arranged.

Day 4: Amboseli - Masai Mara N.P.

After breakfast you be flown to Nairobi and then transfer to the flight to the Masai Mara, giving you another opportunity for game spotting through the window! You will be met at the air strip and transferred to the lodge, which is in an idyllic location on the banks of the Mara River. After lunch at the camp you will head out in search of the plentiful wildlife in this world renown park.

Days 5-6: Masai Mara N.P.

Over the next 2 days you will have game drives morning and evening to see the spectacular wildlife. The Mara is technically an extension of Tanzania’s renowned Serengeti National Park, but it’s rolling grasslands, meandering rivers and towering escarpments equals to an endless amount of game viewing. Home to a wide variety of animals, the Mara is also famous for its Big Five.

Day 7: Masai Mara N.P.

Rise early and take a balloon safari across the Masai Mara. Take off in the crisp morning air, only to experience a game-viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective. As you silently float across the plains, forest and rivers for approximately an hour, your journey comes to end back on land but accompanied with a fully cooked champagne breakfast. The day sees more game viewing both in the morning and late afternoon. For the bird lovers there are over 450 species that have been identified in the Masai Mara Ecosystem.

Day 8: Masai Mara N.P. - Nairobi

We will transfer you to the air strip for the flight back to Nairobi and on arrival we will check you into the hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight - Eka Hotel.

Day 9: Nairobi

We will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
