Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on the go rep will collect you and transfer to your hotel. The Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi - Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi
Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro ----- Welcome to Kilimanjaro! Arrival transfer to your hotel the Serena Mountain Village Lodge.
Day 3: Mt. Kilimanjaro & Moshi - Lake Manyara N.P.
Morning at leisure then safari briefing followed by lunch. In the afternoon join your seat in vehicle safari and depart Arusha passing through the Masai Steppe. At the town of Makuyuni you turn North West and continue the journey up through a scenic escarpment that brings you to your lodge. (Lake Manyara Serena Lodge)
Day 4: Lake Manyara N.P. - Serengeti N.P.
After breakfast there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that returns to the lodge for lunch. Leaving Lake Manyara behind, the journey continues North West in to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll hopefully start spotting game well before you get into the park and check into your lodge. (Serengeti Serena Lodge)
Day 5: Serengeti N.P.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. (Serengeti Serena Lodge)
Day 6: Serengeti N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you depart for Ngorongoro, viewing game as you travel across the vast Serengeti plains. After a picnic lunch you continue to your lodge (Ngorongoro Serena Lodge)
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater to enjoy a full day game drive. Lunch is served near a small lake filled with hippos. You then continue game viewing before returning to the crater’s rim and your lodge. (Ngorongoro Serena Lodge)
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire N.P.
Departing Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast and head south east en route to Lake Manyara, Mto wa Mbu village and Tarangire beyond. You’ll enjoy a game drive en route. After lunch and perhaps a swim, the remainder of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive.
Day 9: Tarangire N.P. - Arusha
Depart after breakfast and head north east to Arusha. The journey will pass through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. On arrival in Arusha you will be transferred to Arusha town centre Mount Meru Hotel have lunch and check into your rooms.
