Day 1: Arusha

The start of your Tanzania Wilderness Safari begins in the capital of safaris, Arusha. You will be collected from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel. Spend the afternoon or evening relaxing at leisure. (Overnight at the Ahadi Lodge)

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire N.P.

This morning from Arusha you will drive to your next stunning northern Tanzanian park, Tarangire National Park. (Overnight at the Lake Burunge Tented Camp)

Day 3: Tarangire N.P.

Today we make the most of Tarangire National Park with both morning and afternoon game drives. The landscape is iconically African with open Acacia woodlands and Baobab trees scattered all over the area and wildlife galore - zebra, kudu, eland, impala, gazelle, buffalo, wildebeest, leopard, rhino just to name a few of what this park has to offer. (Overnight at the Lake Burunge Tented Camp)

Day 4: Tarangire N.P. - Karatu

After breakfast continuing your journey across the Great Rift Valley to the lovely town of Karatu, located on the foothills of Ngorongoro. Afternoon enjoy a variety of activities such as bird watching, a visit to the farm or coffee plantation or a simple massage (If charges apply for activities they are not included) (Overnight at the Country Lodge Karatu)

Day 5: Karatu

To experience the crater without the crowds you will rise early for a full day game drive. Reaching the crater floor as the sun begins to rise, you will undoubtedly be amazed at this natural phenomenon before you. Enjoy a picnic on the edge of one of the crater’s lakes as you watch elephants quench their thirst from afar. Afternoon continued game drive then return to Karatu for a well deserved sundowner. (Overnight at the Country Lodge Karatu)

Day 6: Karatu - Serengeti N.P.

Leaving the great spectacle of the crater behind you will drive to Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed as one of the 7 natural world wonders of modern time, the Serengeti National Park. Afternoon included game drive. (Overnight Serengeti Wilderness Camp)

Day 7: Serengeti N.P.

There’s nothing like an early morning start allowing you to experience one of the most ultimate game viewing experiences. After a hot cup of tea or coffee you will head out on the morning game drive. After lunch at camp, return to the parks open plains in search for more wildlife viewing and experiences. As the evening light approaches, you will be thoroughly rewarded with all you game spotting with sundowners at a picturesque location in the park.

Day 8: Serengeti N.P. - Zanzibar

Morning transfer for your flight to Zanzibar from Seronera. Arriving into Zanzibar, included transfer to your hotel. (Overnight at the Flame Tree Cottages)

Days 9-11: Zanzibar

For the next days ahead enjoy free time to explore. (Overnight at the Flame Tree Cottages)

Day 12: Zanzibar

Morning transfer to embark your boat transfer to Chumbe Island. (Overnight Chumbe Island)

Day 13: Zanzibar

Free day on Chumbe Island. (Overnight Chumbe Island)

Today return boat transfer to the main island - Fee time - Transfer included to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Dar Es Salaam.
