Welcome to Africa! We will be there to meet you at Cape Town airport, and transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
We commence with a cable car trip up the legendary Table Mountain for spectacular views of the Mother City and the surrounding peninsula. (weather permitting; cable car fee not included), Back in the city itself, we visit the well preserved Company Gardens, the S.A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea market, Greenmarket Square. We also take a trip through the colourful and picturesque Malay Quarter known as Bo-Kaap.
Today we will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Hoedspruit and onward transfer to the lodge.
Early this morning and later this afternoon you head off in open vehicles into the park in search of Africa’s Big Five. Keep those cameras ready! If you would like to get up close and personal with the animals you might want to arrange an optional guided walk with armed rangers.
This morning you will have a game drive and after lunch you can enjoy another game drive!
Today we will transfer you to Hoedspruit for the flight to Maun. Upon arrival in Maun we will transfer you to your lodge at Chobe National Park.
We have a morning game drive and in the afternoon we have a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. Here we can watch elephants, hippos, lions, crocodiles and a variety of birds and more without having to even reach for our binoculars!
Today we travel to Moremi Game Reserve and check into the lodge. In the afternoon we have a game drive.
full day of game-viewing in Moremi Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives are the plans for today. Moremi Game Reserve forms an intricate part of the Okavango Delta and is a prime wildlife area where elephants, buffalo, lion, leopard and most other game can be seen in abundance. With its unprecedented abundance of wildlife it is no wonder Moremi is considered one of the most beautiful reserves in all of Africa.
We head into the Okavango Delta and head out on a trip on a mokoro. The Okavango Delta is one of the last remaining unspoiled wilderness areas of Africa. The Delta is fed by the floodwaters of Central Africa and covers an area of some 16000 square kilometers. These waters fan out into the Okavango Delta forming a wetland system of beautiful palm-fringed channels, lagoons and islands that support a wealth of fauna and flora alike.
This morning you have the option of doing a flight over the Delta. We then transfer you through to the Central Kalahari and check you into the lodge.
We will transfer you to Maun and then fly to Windhoek. On arrival in Windhoek we will transfer you to Namib Naukluft National Park.
This morning we will take you to climb Dune 45, one of the highest sand dunes in the World. Afterwards a drive through the park on the way to Windhoek. We will break up the long journey here.
