Day 1: Zanzibar
Airport arrival transfer into Dar Es Salaam airport (arrival 05:15am) and transfer to the ferry port for your ferry to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your local guesthouse in Stone Town. This hotel, your base for the first two days of the trip, is superbly located in the heart of fascinating Stone Town. Whilst Stone Town is relatively small in size, it is bursting with vibrant colour and intriguing history. Wandering along narrow alleys teeming with traders you encounter imposing mosques and crumbling Arabian houses behind studded wooden doors.
