We will meet you at Dar es Salaam airport and take you to check in for the flight to the Serengeti. On arrival we will transfer you to the lodge int he Northern Serengeti and have an afternoon game drive.
There’s nothing like an early morning start to experience one of the most ultimate game viewing sessions. After a hot drink you will soon be wide-awake as you watch wildlife in its most active time. For something completely different, we can arrange an early morning balloon safari over the Serengeti (optional). After lunch at camp, return to the plains in search for more wildlife viewing and experiences. As the evening light approaches, you will be thoroughly rewarded with all your game spotting with sundowners.
This morning we will fly you to Manyara and transfer you to Ngorongoro Serna Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure.
Today you will descend into the crater floor itself, for a game drive. Spend the morning exploring this fascinating wildlife amphitheater. Home to nearly 25,000 animals, which remain in the crater due to the constant supply of water from the springs. There is a very good chance of spotting the big five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. This caldera, formed by a volcano sinking, hosts a unique cross-section of eco-systems, from Soda Lake to savannah and is home to almost every major species of African mammal.
Breakfast at the lodge, depart and drive to Arusha, have lunch at The Arusha Hotel, after lunch transfer to Arusha airstrip for flight to Zanzibar and on arrival meet and transfer to the hotel.
Spend the time in Zanzibar at leisure, relaxing on the beautiful white sands and soaking up the sunshine. For those feeling active, there's a wide range of excursions available locally. Perhaps opt for a spot of snorkelling or scuba diving to see the incredible coral reefs teeming with exotic fish and perhaps the odd dolphin in the azure waters.
