Welcome to Victoria Falls! On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
While away the next two days here, exploring the area and enjoying a range of incredible activities. You can choose to partake in three of the following five activities below. Transfers from and back to your lodge are included for all activities (national park fees are payable locally on some) - White river rafting (USD10 park fees, payable locally)/ 111m solo bungee jump/ Walk with a pride of lions/ Elephant back safari /Night drive and bush dinner.
We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Cape Town. On arrival in Cape Town we will transfer you to the hotel.
We commence with a cable car trip up the legendary Table Mountain for spectacular views of the Mother City and the surrounding peninsula. (weather permitting; cable car fee not included), Back in the city itself, we visit the well preserved Company Gardens, the S.A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea market, Greenmarket Square. We also take a trip through the colourful and picturesque Malay Quarter known as Bo-Kaap.
This is an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way. The Cape Peninsula is one of the world’s most scenic areas and stretches from the City centre to Cape Point.
We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Matsapha Airport via Johannesburg. On arrival in Swaziland we will transfer you through to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.
Today its time to drive up to Hlane Royal National Park, taking your time through the small towns along the way.
Its time to leave Swaziland and drive through to Mozambique. The quaint little town of Ponto D’Ouro is where you will spend the night. It is a scuba diver and fisherman’s paradise, with beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear warm water. There is plenty of time to explore the village which has numerous restaurants, bars and an open air market. There is also the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.
After breakfast continue your drive through Mozambique, reaching Maputo the capital just after lunch. Take time to explore this vibrant city. Maputo (previously Lourenzo Marques) is the sprawling capital of Mozambique. Highlights of the city of Maputo include Maputo’s most important landmark, the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceiao (Our Lady of Conception), which was the nucleus of the original settlement. Another imposing building is the Central Railway Station, an enormous structure which looks more like a palace for kings.
After breakfast drive further north, leaving the bustling town of Maputo behind and head to the coastal town of Xai Xai situated on the banks of the Limpopo River. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful nature of Mozambique. There is a reef running parallel to the beach, making it excellent for snorkelling.
Early this morning and later this afternoon you head off in open vehicles into the park in search of Africa’s Big Five. Keep those cameras ready! If you would like to get up close and personal with the animals you might want to arrange an optional guided walk with armed rangers.
This morning you will have a game drive and after lunch you can enjoy another game drive!
Drive to the airport in time for your departure flight and drop off the hire car at the airport.
