Back down to earth enjoy a transfer then ferry to visit Robben Island where Mandela spent many years for a guided tour and some free time to explore. Return to your hotel, evening at leisure.
Enjoy a full day wine lands tour which includes One Cellar Tour, Wine Tastings at three of the following wine farms Anura, Rhebokskloof, Diemersfontein, Kanonkop, Fairview and/or Simonsvlei. Return to your hotel, evening at leisure.
A free day to explore Cape Town. Maybe visit the V & A Waterfront and shop to your heart’s content or relax on one of the many beautiful beaches.
Today a transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg where on arrival you connect to your small plane flight to Hoedspruit. Arriving there our local crew will meet you and transfer you to your lodge.
You willl have 2 game drives included today. It’s said that Kruger has the greatest variety of wildlife in Africa. Lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, giraffe are present as are a profusion of herbivores. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms
After you morning game drive we will transfer you to Hoedspruit airport for the small plane flight. We will meet you at Johannesburg airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Enjoy a full day of the city including the Hector Pieterson Museum, Mandela House and its small museum, Regina Mondi Church, site of so many of the underground meetings of the then banned political parties. After lunch visit the legendary Apartheid Museum. This is an interactive voyage of discovery, one which takes you from the dark days of ‘whites only’ privilege, through to Nelson Mandela’s historic release.
