Johannesburg city

Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger N.P.

On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, make your way to the Bateleur Air Charter facility for your charter flight to the Arathusa airstrip. (Departure times may vary, please check before booking your international flights.) You will be transferred to the lodge where you have the afternoon to settle in before embarking on a sunset drive, followed by dinner.

Days 2-3: Kruger N.P.

The next two days will be spent on game drives in an open safari vehicle, each morning and late afternoon in search of animals both large and small. Experienced and personable rangers are coupled with local trackers. Together they ensure a first class safari experience. Large herds of buffalo numbering in excess of 300 often find their way to the Arathusa lake. Elephants are also seen in numbers. There are various lion prides in the area, as well as a few nomadic males. General game are abundant in this section of the Sabi Sand Reserve, including giraffe, zebra, warthog, impala and more. This region is a bird-watcher’s mecca.

Day 4: Kruger N.P. - Johannesburg

This morning after a last hearty breakfast in the African bush, you will be transferred back to Johannesburg, from where your tailor made Botswana Highlights Package will start. On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport Johannesburg you will be met and transferred to the Safari Club Hotel, a a 4 star African themed lodge located close to the airport, where you will overnight before flying on to Victoria Falls the next morning.

Day 5: Johannesburg - Victoria Falls

After breakfast you will be transferred to Or Tambo International Airport, in time for your flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival in Victoria Falls you will be met and transferred to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. The rest of the afternoon will be at leisure for you to visit the falls and admire he majesty of this Natural Wonder.

Day 6: Victoria Falls - Chobe N. P.

After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Chobe Marina Lodge on the banks of the Chobe River in Botswana. In the afternoon you will be taken on a game drive in the Chobe National Park, home to the world.s largest population desnsity of elephants.

Day 7: Chobe N. P.

Today you will go an an early morning game drive in the park. This is your best chance for spotting predators, as they are still on the prowl from the night before. Afterwards, you.ll return to the lodge for a hearty brunch. In the afternoon you.ll take a sunset game viewing cruise along the Chobe River. Its a real highlight to watch the elephants drinking, and see various other species of wildlife on the river

Days 8-11: Chobe N. P. - Okavango Delta

After breakfast you will be transferred to Kasane Airport, from where you will take a charter flight to Pompom Camp on Chief.s Island, situated adjacent to Moremi National Park in the Okavango Delta. During your stay at Pompom Camp you will be taken on game drives, boat safaris and get to experience the delta the traditional way . by mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, propelled by a guide with a pole.

Day 12: Okavango Delta

This morning after a last hearty breakfast in the African bush, you will be transferred by air back to Maun, from where you will catch a flight back to Johannesburg.
