Day 1: Johannesburg

Today we arrive in Johannesburg! After check in at the hotel the afternoon is free for you to explore.

Day 2: Johannesburg - Kruger N.P.

Today we take a shuttle transfer to the town of Hoedspruit where we meet up with a representative from the Kapama River Lodge and transferred to the Lodge for check in. Today and for the following 2 days you will participate in 2 daily game drives and be able to immerse yourself in the fantastic facilities the lodge has to offer.

Day 3: Kruger N.P.

Kapama Lodge occupies a large area between the Drakensberg Mountains and the Greater Kruger National Park. The reserve is 13000 hectares of pristine wilderness abundant with animals including the Big 5. Twice daily game drives give you the opportunity to experience the animals in their local environment including savannah woodlands, grasslands and riverine bush.

Day 4: Kruger N.P.

Further explore the Lodge with a included Bush walk or one of the Lodge's many option activities. Take time out to relax in the Kapama Wellness Centre where a wide vartiy of spa treatments are available, or opt for a hot air balloon over the reserve. There are opportunities to get up and close with nature with an elephant safari or take time out to meet the elephants of the reserve with the lodges famous elephant interaction. There is also an option to take a guided trip to the Hoedspruit Centre for Endangered Species where many animals are being rehabilitated for return to the wild. If this does not takes your fancy then perhaps a romantic sleep out and 5 course dinner under the stars? All can be booked and paid for locally.

Day 5: Kruger N.P. - Johannesburg

Today is a final day in Kruger to take in the wonderful facilities of the reserve. You will have the day to explore before returning to Hoedsprut for you transfer to you accommodation in Johanseburg, conviently located by the airport ready for onward departure the following day.

Day 6: Johannesburg

Today after breakfast the day is yours to pehaps pick up some last minute souvineers before your onward departure flight. Our arrangements end at check out from the hotel.
