Today we start your journey to Kruger National Park with a private transfer from your hotel in Johannesburg, leaving early this morning and arriving just after lunch. Welcome to Kapama! Situated in the Limpopo Province, Kapama is one of South Africa’s largest privately owned game reserves, occupying 13,000 hectares of prime ‘Big Five’ country in the Valley of the Olifants (Elephant Valley), which is situated between the northern Drakensberg mountains and the Greater Kruger National Park. The Reserve is in close proximity to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, and is also home to the Hoedspruit Centre for Endangered Species, which concentrates primarily on the rehabilitation of the endangered cheetah. Check in at Kapama in time for your first game drive and dinner.
Early this morning and later this afternoon you head off in open vehicles into the park in search of Africa’s Big Five. Keep those cameras ready! If you would like to get up close and personal with the animals you might want to arrange an optional guided walk with armed rangers.
This morning you will have a game drive and after lunch you can enjoy another game drive!
After your early morning game drive and a tasty breakfast, we will transfer you back to Johannesburg, stopping for dinner en-route.
