Coast road

Day 1: Cape Town

On arrival into Cape Town Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure exploring South Africa’s mother city or relaxing at the hotel. Overnight - Queens Boutique Guesthouse.

Cablecar to Table Mountain

Day 2: Cape Town

Embark on a half day tour of Cape Town with the option at the end to take a cable car up Table Mountain for spectacular views of the city (excludes cost of cable car). Your tour will take in the Houses of Parliament, the Castle (built between 1666 and 1679 - making it South Africa's oldest building) and the lively Greenmarket Square with its daily market, the Company Gardens. If you choose to head up the mountain you will visit Bo-Kaap after this. Bo-Kaap is home to the Cape Malay community and is full of cobbled streets and brightly coloured houses. From here you have the choice to be dropped at the Waterfront to experience the vibrant location or at the hotel at the end of your tour. Overnight - Queens Boutique Guesthouse.

Day 3: Cape Town

Today take an excursion to the beautiful Winelands for wine tasting on one of the many estates in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. This delightful drive winds its way through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Your first stop is Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa with canal lined avenues, and magnificent examples of Cape Dutch architecture where you enjoy your first wine tasting. Onward over the scenic Helshoogte Pass to Franschoek, the culinary capital of South Africa. Your final stop is at the town of Paarl, at the foot of a cluster of remarkable granite domes where you do your last wine tasting before heading back to Cape Town. Cape Point, South Africa

Day 4: Cape Town

Today you embark on a fulll day tour of the Cape Peninsular. Take in the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to Hout Bay, where you may choose to join an optional boat cruise to Seal Island. From here you drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breath taking coastal drives, where you will board a funicular to get to the top of the Peninsula to witness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and enjoy spectacular views over False Bay. Continue to Simonstown and visit the African Penguin breeding colony at Boulders Beach. Then stop at the world- renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens. Overnight - Queens Boutique Guesthouse.

Days 5-7: Cape Town - Kruger N.P.

Today we fly to Mpumalanga and the Kruger National Park. Kruger is the flagship of Africa and South Africa’s game reserves, offering an exceptional safari experience. Spend the next two days enjoying full day game drives in the National Park. You will also have time to sit back, relax at your lodge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and sounds of the wild! The next three days are spent searching for the Big Five on various game drives in South Africa’s flagship park. Overnight - Nottens Bush Camp.

Day 8: Kruger N.P. - Zanzibar

We will transfer you through Johannesburg for the flight to Zanzibar. On arrival we will check you into the hotel.

Days 9-13: Zanzibar

Spend the next days at leisure, relaxing on the beautiful white sands and soaking up the sunshine. For those feeling active, there's a wide range of excursions available locally. Perhaps opt for a spot of snorkelling or scuba diving to see the incredible coral reefs teeming with exotic fish and perhaps the odd dolphin in the azure waters.

Day 14: Zanzibar

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
