Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Nairobi airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel by our local team. There is a short safari briefing before arriving at the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli

Today we drive to Amboseli National Park in time for lunch at the lodge. Later on as the evening draws in we will head out on our first game drive in the park. Amboseli is most famous for its free ranging elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro - which on a clear day are truly breath-taking.

Day 3: Amboseli

As the sun rises on another day in Amboseli, we get up early to make the most of the early morning game drives. These early mornings are arguably the best time to try and view Mount Kilimanjaro in all its glory. Later on take an informative guided nature walk before dinner and our final night at the lodge.

Day 4: Amboseli - Lake Manyara N.P.

Today we cross the border into Tanzania where we are met and transferred to Arusha for lunch at the Mount Meru Hotel. After lunch we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive and an evening drive to the camp.

Day 5: Lake Manyara N.P.

We depart after breakfast and take a picnic lunch box for our drive to Tarangire National Park. Once in the park we begin a game drive before heading back to camp for dinner.

Day 6: Lake Manyara N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro where we descend down into the crater floor for a full day's game drive. By late afternoon we ascend back up the crater and drive to the lodge for the night.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Today we take another game drive, which includes a stop at Olduvai Gorge - the cradle of mankind.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti N.P.

After breakfast, we drive to the Serengeti to get up close to one of Africa's premier national parks. After lunch at the lodge, we set out on the first of our game drives.

Day 9: Serengeti N.P.

Enjoy a full day game drive in the park after breakfast at the lodge. It is possible to catch a glimpse of all the 'Big Five' in one day if you're lucky. Lunches on this portion of the trip will be picnic lunches so as to gain as much time on the park as possible and maximise viewings.

Day 10: Serengeti N.P. - Lake Victoria

Wake up early this morning before setting out to the lakeside town of Musoma. Here you will be met by a boat, which will shuttle you to the amazing Lukuba Island Lodge, set on a secluded, soft sand beach on the eastern side of Lake Victoria, the second largest fresh water lake in the world.

Day 11: Lake Victoria

The Lodge is the perfect place to relax after a few days of safari. Lukuba provides everything you'll need to unwind, to take a deep breath and let the sounds and visions of Lake Victoria overtake you.

Day 12: Lake Victoria - Masai Mara N.P.

Early today we leave for a full day of travel to Kenya. An interesting and scenic drive, you will again cross back to Kenya at the Isebania border making your way to the prestigious Masai Mara.

Days 13-14: Masai Mara N.P.

Today and tomorrow you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives looking out for the 'Big Five' and lots of other wonderful animals that the park is famous for. You have the option of a hot air balloon ride this morning- see the Enhance your Holiday Page for details.

Day 15: Masai Mara N.P.

Sadly today is the last day of the trip and arrangements end after your transfer back to Nairobi Airport by land.
