We will meet you at the airport and take you to the check in for the flight to Maun. On arrival in Maun, we will transfer you to Moremi Game Reserve and check you into the lodge.
A full day of game-viewing in Moremi Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives are the plans for today. Moremi Game Reserve forms an intricate part of the Okavango Delta and is a prime wildlife area where elephants, buffalo, lion, leopard and most other game can be seen in abundance. With its unprecedented abundance of wildlife it is no wonder Moremi is considered one of the most beautiful reserves in all of Africa.
Today take a Mokoro, (traditional dug-out canoe) excursion further in to the Okavango Delta. Relax as your poler takes you through the lillies and see if you can spot hippos, water ponies and more.
Today we will transfer you to Chobe National Park and check you into the lodge. This afternoon you will have your first game drive in Chobe.
Today you will have a full day of game driving. Chobe is known for its elephant population, with some 120,000 elephants based in the park. They tend to be particularly large but their ivory is brittle, so will only have short tusks. As well as elephant, an abundance of giraffe, zebra, impala, sable, wildebeest, kudu, waterbuck, warthogs, eland, lion and hyena can be seen, and if you are very lucky, cheetah and leopard.
We will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cape Town. We will transfer you to the hotel.
Today your vehicle will be delivered to your guesthouse where you then begin your self drive. The first stop is the winelands region.
Drive to Hermanus today and check into your hotel. You will have free time to explore.
Today you will drive through to Knysna and spend the night in this beach town.

Today you leave South Africa and drive into Lesotho, , the southernmost landlocked country in the world, rich in natural beauty, flora, fauna and cultural heritage. We spend two nights in Malealea, situated in a remote part of Western Lesotho and is breathtaking in its beauty. We have a chance to experience traditional Basotho life, a nation with solid traditions, beliefs and customs.
Today you will drive to the newly formed Malati Drakensberg Transfrontier Conservation Area.
On the road again as you drive through to Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve which is a safe haven for the white rhino. You visit a local Zulu village to learn about their culture, traditions and lifestyle.
Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary in the mountainous Kingdom of Swaziland and your first port of call. Swaziland, lead by King Mswati III, is one of 3 monarchies in Africa. Mlilwane is Swaziland’s pioneer conservation area, situated in the ‘Valley of Heaven’.
Today its time to drive up to Hlane Royal National Park, taking your time through the small towns along the way.
Its time to leave Swaziland and drive through to Mozambique. The quaint little town of Ponto D’Ouro is where you will spend the night. It is a scuba diver and fisherman’s paradise, with beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear warm water. There is plenty of time to explore the village which has numerous restaurants, bars and an open air market. There is also the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.
After breakfast continue your drive through Mozambique, reaching Maputo the capital just after lunch. Take time to explore this vibrant city. Maputo (previously Lourenzo Marques) is the sprawling capital of Mozambique. Highlights of the city of Maputo include Maputo’s most important landmark, the Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceiao (Our Lady of Conception), which was the nucleus of the original settlement. Another imposing building is the Central Railway Station, an enormous structure which looks more like a palace for kings.
After breakfast drive further north, leaving the bustling town of Maputo behind and head to the coastal town of Xai Xai situated on the banks of the Limpopo River. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful nature of Mozambique. There is a reef running parallel to the beach, making it excellent for snorkelling.
Drive to the airport in time for your departure flight and drop off the hire car at the airport.
