Day 1: Nairobi - Mt Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred by road to Serena Mountain Lodge. Arrival at the Mountain Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon will be at leisure. Mountain Lodge, is a dramatic wooden lodge built deep within the Mount Kenya forest. The floodlit waterhole & saltlick are in full view from the comfortable lounge area, giving guests the chance to watch animals at any time of the night. Elephant, Lion, Buffalo & Rhino are common visitors at Mountain Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 2: Mt Kenya - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast we drive to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure, where you can enjoy optional activities like boat riding and Crescent Island Tour. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara N.P.
After breakfast you will be driven across the floor of the Great Rift Valley, the longest rift in the crust of the earth, to the Masai Mara where you will arrive for lunch at Mara Serena Lodge. You will encounter prides of lion resting in the shade of acacia trees or lying low in the tall grass, in wait for their next prey, as well as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, buffalo, elephant, antelope and gazelle. There is a good chance of spotting cheetah and if you are lucky, the shy leopard. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge
Day 4: Masai Mara N.P.
Early morning and evening game drives to absorb the enormity of the Mara. In this country of breathtaking vistas, view its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators: Buffalo, Black Rhino, Hippopotamus, Leopard, Cheetah, Lion, common zebra, Coke's Hartebeest, White bearded Gnu, Oryx, Warthog, and Thompson's and Grant's Gazelles.
Day 5: Masai Mara N.P. - Serengeti N.P.
Depart after breakfast and transfer to Sirare Border where your Kenyan driver will hand you over to the Tanzanian driver for the onward safari. Picnic lunches will be provided. Arrive Sirari boarder, after clearing customs you will be met by your Tanzanian vehicle/guide and driven to Serengeti. Enjoy game drives enroute. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: Serengeti N.P.
After breakasft today you enjoy game drives in the Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch box. Also enjoy an evening drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 7: Serengeti N.P. - Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakasft today you will drive to NCAA with picnic lunch boxes and descend down in the Crater floor for your game drive. This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8300 square kilometres. The actual crater is 260 square kilometres and 620m deep. We will set off up the slopes to reach the crater rim, where we will continue around the crater rim to the descent road. You will undoubtedly be amazed at this natural phenomenon before you. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 25,000 animals and is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire N.P.
After breakfast w depart with picnic lunches and drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. This baobab laced park hosts the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope are often observed. Lunch is taken at picnic location in the park. Watch over an evergreen swamp filled with elephants as you enjoy a delightful bush cuisine. For the more ardent bird-lovers might keep an eye open for screeching flocks of the dazzlingly colorful yellow-collared lovebird – all endemic to the dry savannah of north-central Tanzania. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Tarangire N.P.
After breakfast drive to Arusha, lunch in a restaurant before later transferring you to Kilimanjaro Airport
