Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara N.P.

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Wilson Airport for the flight to Mara, departing at 0915hrs to arrive Mara at 1000hrs. Clients will be met on arrival at the airstrip and transferred to Olonana Tented Camp Sanctuary Olonana is located in the Masai Mara, the heart of Kenya’s big game country. Fourteen spacious en-suite tents border the banks of the Mara River where the resident hippo spend their days wallowing. A wide range of game and cultural activities are available. The great wildebeest migration is present in the Mara from around July to October each year. The camp earned a gold award from Ecotourism Kenya for its innovative wetlands and treeplanting projects. Day 2: Masai Mara N.P.

Morning and afternoon game drives in a shared 4X4 vehicle. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Mara means ‘contrast’ in the Maa tongue and it refers to the contrast of fair, savannah land and dark trees in the region. The Masai Mara forms part of the huge Serengeti ecosystem and spreads over 1510 square kilometres of rolling plains, sudden rocky outcrops and green winding rivers. Not only is the Mara blessed with this stunning landscape but its animal diversity is one of the greatest in Africa. Day 3: Masai Mara N.P.

Optional balloon ride in the Mara this morning (see Enhance). Take off in the crisp morning air, only to experience a game-viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective. As you silently float across the plains, forest and rivers for approximately an hour. The day will see more game viewing in the Maasai Mara Reserve. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Day 4: Masai Mara N.P.

Morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp/lodge. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi that departs at 1000 hrs to arrive at 1145 hrs. Upon arrival, you will be met at Wilson airport and transferred to the airport for your departure flight
