Day 1: Johannesburg
Welcome to Johannesburg, enjoy an airport transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at lesisure.
Day 2: Johannesburg
Today we will take you on a half day tour of Soweto, the biggest and most vibrant township in South Africa. Playing a main part in the apartheid struggle, Soweto today incorporates historical sites of the road to freedom.
Day 3: Johannesburg
Today we will take you to Lesedi Cultural Village, where you will see village life of the Zulu, Ndebele, Sotho, Pedi and Xhosa people. You get to sample traditional food and see traditional dancers.
Day 6: Hazyview - Kruger N.P.
We will transfer you to the Kruger today and check you into the lodge.
Day 7: Kruger N.P.
Early this morning and later this afternoon you head off in open vehicles into the park in search of Africa’s Big Five. Keep those cameras ready! If you would like to get up close and personal with the animals you might want to arrange an optional guided walk with armed rangers.
Day 11: Sun City - Cape Town
We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Cape Town. On arrival in Cape Town we will transfer you to the hotel.
Day 16: Cape Town - Durban
We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Durban. On arrival in Durban we will transfer you to the hotel.
Day 17: Durban
Today we head to the Valley of 1000 hills, a picturesque setting with hills as far as the eye can see. Beautiful scenery and also a cultural village visit if you wish.
Day 18: Durban
Drive to Zululand passing the rolling hills of sugar cane fields and forest plantations. Visit Shakaland, a Zulu kraal, near Eshowe, in the Nkwalini valley. Cultural programme of Zulu traditions: beer brewing, spear making, hut building, pottery, weaving, traditional dress, Zulu etiquette and the layout and social structure of a kraal. Singing and tribal dancing. Typical Zulu meal served in an open rondavel overlooking Goedetru dam.
Day 20: Durban - Inhambane
We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Inhambane (via Johannesburg). On arrival in Inhambane we will transfer you to the hotel.
Day 23: Inhambane - Johannesburg
We will transfer you to the airport in time for the flight to Johannesburg. On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel.
