My experience was a magical dream come true - the adventure of the Mokoro canoe ride into camp, guided bushwalks, the animal sightings, the helicopter flight over the waterways with herds of Elephant & Cape Buffalo, even went swimming. I did not like Bulawayo. It was hot, crowded, the streets were filthy & stunk. But it was grass roots Africa. The tour package was incredible & nothing was sugar coated.

The stay at Mopane Lodge was a disappointment. As a photographer I was really looking forward to a night at the Ugab Terrace Lodge. The accommodation at Mopane and the Cresta Sprayview was like being in a concrete box and the Cresta was too far from the major shops and restaurants in Victoria Falls
