Day 1: Nairobi

Welcome to Nairobi! Upon arrival at JKIA you will be transfered to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara N.P.

After breakfast, drive past the extinct Volcano of Mt Longonot and Suswa into the homelands of the Masai. After lunch you will have the opportunity to observe the unique world of the Masai Mara.

The Mara is technically an extension of Tanzania’s renowned Serengeti National Park, but it’s rolling grasslands, meandering rivers and towering escarpments equals to an endless amount of game viewing. Home to a wide variety of animals, the Mara is also famous for its Big Five. Depending on the game drive, we’ll proceed back to the lodge for a late lunch, only to return again in search of more wildlife action late afternoon.

Day 4: Masai Mara N.P.

Rise early and take the option of a balloon safari across the Masai Mara. Take off in the crisp morning air, only to experience a game-viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective. As you silently float across the plains, forest and rivers for approximately an hour, your journey comes to end back on land but accompanied with a fully cooked champagne breakfast. The day sees more game viewing both in the morning and late afternoon. For the bird lovers there are over 450 species that have been identified in the Masai Mara Ecosystem.

Day 5: Masai Mara N.P.

Full day game drive. Today you will set off on a full day’s game drive taking a picnic lunch. You will have more time to explore a larger area of the Masai Mara, with its various landscapes, from savannahs, forests, dry river beds and rocky kopjes, all of which offering a better environment for a whole range of animals. Your picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a scheduled spot in the reserve among the wildlife.

Day 6: Masai Mara N.P. - Zanzibar

We will head back to Nairobi today and take you to Pampa Restaurant for lunch. Afterwards we will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar we will transfer you to the hotel (superior room).

Days 7-12: Zanzibar

Spend the time on Zanzibar at leisure, relaxing on the beautiful white sands and soaking up the sunshine. For those feeling active, there's a wide range of excursions available locally. Perhaps opt for a spot of snorkelling or scuba diving to see the incredible coral reefs teeming with exotic fish and perhaps the odd dolphin in the azure waters.

Day 13: Zanzibar

We will transfer you to the airport in time for the flight to Nairobi. On services will end upon your arrival to Nairobi Airport.
