After arriving at Puerto Maldonado airport you are transferred to the Infierno Community Port for the 2┬╜ hour journey downriver to Refugio Amazonas.

Days 2 - 3 will be spent firstly on a 1┬╜ hr walk around the Saschavacayoc Oxbow Lake, hiking a ethno botanical trail, visiting a parakeet lick and a Brazil Nut Trail, before a final visit to a slash and burn agricultural farm.

Day 4 sees an early breakfast before returning back to Puerto Maldonado to meet our flight.
